They say it's an honor just to be nominated.
We never believed that s**t.
We wanted to win.
And we did.
WE WON! A Worldwide Comedy Award for BEST PODCAST!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart (which is pretty deep in there considering the many layers of flesh that are holding it inside) for your loyal support of the Comedy Hour. Not to mention the effort to vote for us. (Okay, it wasn't that big an effort, you made a couple of clicks on your phone while you were taking your morning constitutional, but still, the point is, you took the time to do it)
This auspicious accolade is an acknowledgment that suggests it is a worthy effort. And should continue, and so, that we will do.
We sincerely promise to make this next season's releases with some regularity and in a more timely fashion. Okay...not so much a promise, more like a pledge...let's say it will be an effort towards some type of commitment that might result in our being true to our word.
Regardless of what eventually will transpire in future episodes, you can expect more yuk-filled content designed to engage, entertain, amuse, and delight you, a happy respite from this cruel and uncertain world.
If you haven't already, please subscribe, spread the word and give us a good review on Apple Podcasts; apparently, that helps to make us more visible to those out there who have yet to experience the joy, wonder, and excitement that is The Rob Bartlett Radio Comedy Hour.
Moving forwards to the future
(Where the hell else would you move forwards to?)
As always

Just in time for the Rennaissance of Barney (With a New Documentary and Feature Film slated for later this year), The Robio kicks off the New Year with a long-awaited new episode of THE ROB BARTLETT RADIO COMEDY HOUR: An interview with Larry Rifkin, the PBS Executive responsible for bringing the well-loved Purple Dinosaur to the masses. But don't hate him for that particular achievement; instead, be inspired by the multi-faceted, diverse career of a guy who took everything he loved as a kid and found a way to make a living off all of it. It's all in his new book, 'No Dead Air: Career Reflections From the TV Executive Who Saved Barney From Extinction.' It's quite a unique episode.
THE ROB BARTLETT RADIO COMEDY HOUR HAS RETURNED! SEASON 6, EPISODE 1 - 'A CONVERSATION WITH LEGENDARY LEGEND, RICH VOS'. The Robio is back after hiatus with a brand new episode, destined to be an instant classic because it's an interview with his old pal, Rich Vos. A laugh out loud funny hour with some amazing stories from both of their careers, and some hysterical clips of Rich doing standup...including his legendary performance on Def Comedy Jam. He also shares some brutally honest moments from his road to recovery from Crack Addiction...all peppered with his signature, self-deprecating, dark, sarcastic, original and brilliantly funny style.
A brief history of Stand Up Comedy on Long Island on The Rob Bartlett Radio Comedy Hour, amazing war stories with Richie Minervini and Jackie Martling:

The Rob Bartlett Radio Comedy Hour started as a germ of an idea, many years ago, when The Robio was in High School, and a huge fan of ‘The National Lampoon Radio Hour’, (The precursor to Saturday Night Live, featuring John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray among others) as well as ‘Old Time’ Radio shows, where comedians like Bob Hope and Jack Benny were sponsored by Chevrolet and Lucky Strike. Like every other comedian on the planet, he also worshipped The Late Night Talk Shows, most of all, the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and Late Night with David Letterman.
He thought that combining LIVE sketch comedy with a troupe of actors, along with a personality as a host, a bandleader sidekick, and a weekly musical guest about to explode on the scene, would make for a fine broadcast, indeed.
It would be streamed Live on video, as being a fly on the wall watching a radio broadcast was something he was very familiar with, having been a protege of (Don) Imus in the Morning for 30 Years. But it would also be archived as an audio podcast, making it a truly ‘On Demand’ experience.
Every week, using a new concept called ‘Scripted Spontaneity’, the Rob Bartlett Radio Comedy Hour will bring the silly, the laughs and excitement that is missing in the Podcast Universe.
