Our mission at HypeKick is to make empathy-driven videos that build trust with our clients’ audience. And a crap ton of the videos we make involve motion graphics and animation. That’s where you come in! We need a motion designer who can bring our clients’ video dreams to life.
DOES THAT SOUND AWESOME? HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Brainstorming, storyboarding, designing and animating content for a diverse array of brands across various digital platforms
• Working with clients and collaborating with directors, account managers, producers, designers, and animators to push the creative boundaries on each project
• Maintaining well-organized projects
• Managing multiple concurrent projects
• Creating internal marketing video content for HypeKick
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
• Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: primarily Premiere, After Effects, & Illustrator
• A strong understanding of best practices & trends on social media platforms for both paid and organic content
• Capable of designing and illustrating in a variety of styles
• Strong understanding of design & animation principles, layout, typography and color theory
• Attention to pixel perfect detail and ambition to actively find ways to continually elevate the work
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience managing projects that vary in scope from single pieces to multifaceted, multichannel marketing campaigns
• Solid problem-solving skills
• A teachable attitude to take feedback and get better
• An appreciation for budgets and deadlines to ensure that all projects are completed on-time, within scope, and within budget
• Good leadership skills in relationship building, influencing and collaboration
• Good communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
HOW TO STAND OUT:
• Excellent portfolio of work
• Experience providing animation/VFX support in the video production process
• Knowledge of visual effects like compositing, motion tracking, and roto-scoping
• Fundamental understanding of editing, sound design and color correcting
• Experience in Maxon Cinema 4D is a plus
• Experience as a director
