The current happening in our beloved nation as caused many to ponder about the future of this nation . This picture was taken before I boarded Arik airlines not knowing it would be grounded permanently the next day and sold off in aution for it's debts by the Nigeria govt. It's amazing that Nigeria could shutdown a airline operation for debts while the govt owes national and international creditors billions if not trillion of dollars . The Nigerian state is heading to a failed state if it's drivers don't pull the breaks of its borrowing madness with institutions like NNPC and federating bodies. The ongoing protest against hardship of govt austerity measures i.e subsidy removal highlights a worrying sign that the government must sit up. The hollowed presidential broadcast in response to the protest is a missed opportunity and a reminder that government is completely out of touch by it's handlers. The way forward is not policies BUT the WILL TO ACT FOR THE COMMON GOOD OF THE NATION AND THE AVERAGE NIGERIAN that will not benefit the ruling party or it's allies.

A documentary of delta steel company aladja, it was a cornerstone of development for Nigeria until mismanagement, poor visionary leadership destroyed it. Today everything steel is imported into Nigeria. This is unsustainable for any nation let the discussion begin for true industrialization therein stand our nation prosperity

As tinubu administration approach one year in office the scorecard is out from my assessment it's 1/100 . Tinubu for many progressive who followed him since the days of (The National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) a broad coalition of Nigerian democrats). His ascension into office in the most controversial election in modern Nigeria history. His ascension signify somewhat a renewed hope given his pursuit of the office of the president for two decade after the plundering and r**e of Nigeria common wealth by several military juntas.Tinubu first blunder was removing subsidy on day 1 of his presidency. Agreed that subsidy was a white elephant project that needed to end the timing was his undoing . The attendant effect was astronomical increase of everything from commodity prices to production to about 300%. To worsen things President tinubu floated the moribund Naira against the dollar thereby bringing the economy to it's knees because Nigeria is an import dependent economy . My take on restoring the economy back to normal is identifying our major problem which is power supply and it's distribution, food ,lack of access to capital by struggling business and poor visionary leadership amongst others . The fastest way to end Nigeria power debacle is solar power investment if any subsidy would ever be expended it should be on renewable power supply. The vast arable land God has given us should serve as a source of food not hunger. No economy can strive without its business enterprise . The government must intentionally encourage tens of thousands of business to grow and provide Capital for struggling SME Until more business spring up in the tens of thousands to a million in the speed of light the lack of it will continue to cause security issues. Finally where there is no vision the nation perish . Nigeria vision must translate from policy to action ensuring our institution of higher learning specializes in our challenges not a vague degree without impact to our nation economy and life. I want to congratulate the president for one year in office but our direction must change to the promise land

It's well

This is not a movie scene, neither is this Syria or Afghanistan. This is the heartbreaking site of the collapsed building in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Say a prayer for the survivors and the bereaved families of the victims 🙏

🇳🇬 On the 20th day of October 2020 ; The Nigerian youth looked at its leaders in the face and demanded a better form of governance , improved security and asked for the disbandment of the repressive and brutal police unit SARS. In a calculated response the nigerian government sent an army attachment to quell what it perceived as civil disobedience with an immeasurable and disproportionate use of brutal force and left in his wake dead dreams , stolen future , broken promises and bloody scale of massacre on the streets of lagos , Nigeria. On this day we remember those innocent souls who died by the guns of soldiers who swore to defend and protect Nigeria and Nigerians. The painful part of the story is the current south west leaders were the former NADECO stalwarts an organisations setup to fight repressive regime .Unfortunately when they did seize power they empowered the military to suppress & murdered civilians for the same democratic activity they once participated in.
