Watching you burn to death… This is a living nightmare.

2 minutes ago, I saw a man trapped under rubble that was blazing with fire. The flames swallowed him over and over and over again. His screams came from hell. He burned to death. His skin dripped off his body like melting glass. Then his flesh turned to charcoal.

30 Sep 2024, Israel invaded Lebanon. Like most of you, I was up all night thinking about the devastating news I would hear in the morning and wondering if our brothers and sisters are okay. Happy Nelson Mandela Day everyone ❤️

Today is an international public holiday in celebration of Mandela’s birthday. The holiday was declared and made official by the United Nations.

After being on the terr*rist watch list for years for his resistance and contributions towards fighting for peace (sometimes these fights included bombing, YES Mandel actually did bomb public places) he was then rewarded over 260 prizes including the Nobel Peace Prize.

Sometimes, being a peacekeeper isn’t actually being a peacemaker.
