Lights, camera, and action! A new film, titled “On American Soil” has been filming in Hallettsville. The location that was filmed was at the Lavaca County Old Jail.

Bearline Film Productions is an independent film company created in 2010 and was based in Corpus Christi, Texas, by founder Michael L Garcia Jr. He moved the company to Austin, Texas to be closer to the film industry. It’s purpose is to create and collaborate with local indy filmmakers to re kindle the film industry in Texas.
