We are delighted to announce that at the February Parish Council meeting, Simon Parry was co-opted as a Parish Councillor for Fairfield. Simon lives in Fairfield and is keen to get involved with the community. After his appointment he said, “I am looking forward to delivering projects and initiatives within the community as a member of Fairfield Parish Council”. We welcome Simon and look forward to working with him and hearing his new ideas.

Volunteers needed this Saturday morning to help with the orchard winter pruning.

Volunteers needed for apple tree pruning

The first apple tree pruning of the year will take place on Saturday 10th February 2024 in the Orchards.

Meet at the Community Hall at 9.30 am or in the West Orchard (the one along Hardy Way) anytime during the morning.

All tools and instructions provided. (Unless you have your own favourite loppers!)

Please wear suitable shoes for potentially muddy conditions. Gloves also advised.
