Animation Director + Illustrator Emmanuelle Walker has released her latest short film produced by QUAD Group titled 'Le Jour où je me suis ramassée dans l’champ' ( or, simply 'OMW' in its English version ).

The film is set in Emmanuelle's native Quebec and is fondly described as "a purely visual endeavor, a puzzle of scenes". The driving force behind all the action was the idea to have a character go through an "obstacle course" of a day but at every hurdle she would continue to move forward "without hesitation".

T-minus two days until colossal inflated cartoon characters swallow Manhattan and we feast our way into a tryptophan stupor before jolting awake at some ungodly hour to shove our way into a decrepit department store that filed Chapter 11 the same year Clinton played the sax on national television but is somehow still kickin' just so we can come to blows with someone's grandmother over a set of steak knives marked at 80% off! 😊 ( Humanity is wild and wacky stuff. )

The second half of director Terry Hall’s work for Amazon Ads’ small business campaign gives the underrepresented end of the small business spectrum a rightful spot in the limelight that says "we know Fluffy the Golden Maltidoodlepoo requires a chew toy made of only the finest Egyptian fibers and Amazon can connect you with the business that has 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 the bone shaped Christmas miracle in their inventory."

Such is the gravitational pull of Buda.tv's creativity that a fennec fox in hot pursuit of roast Jerboa for dinner placed the call of the wild on hold 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 to enter the imagination wonderland that is the studio's latest reel.

Creating a standalone short film that acts as an intro for their reels has become a classic Buda.tv style; for this latest stab at bite-sized storytelling, their teams took the plunge with characters adorned in lush fur engaging in high-octane action sequences in full-frame shots enriched with an enticing blend of 2D and 3D elements. The final product embodies the core of the studio's philosophy- ever yearning for something fresh and forever chasing what's new.
