Hello, Shindig is a home-based recording studio in Dublin, Ohio, with a primary focus on high quality level tracking. Our goal is to capture the best front-end sound with our assortment of studio standard microphones, through API, Great River, Neve and Universal Audio preamps. A solid front end signal chain makes the mixing process more fun and creative, not a "fix it later" environment here. Our

recording space is a totally relaxed and non-intimidating environment which encourages creativity. With full drum tracking capabilities, use our Recording Custom Yamaha kit or bring your own kit. We also have great guitars and amps with a vocal (and speaker cab) isolation booth, to keep drums out of the vocal mix. Primary DAW is Logic Pro and Pro Tools with various software plug-ins. We offer near latency-free track monitoring with P16 personal monitor mix stations. These save a great amount of time as you control what mix you are hearing in the headphones. Rate is $25.00 per hour for tracking and post mixing. You can also take your work home on a jump drive if you prefer to mix. Please contact us to see if we may have a fit. Kirk

Hello!! After a few years off (kids, other hobbies, pandemics) we are starting up recording sessions again. We appreciate everyone who has recorded here in the past and we've had a lot of fun with it - while fine tuning our production skills as we go! I'm starting with a reboot of technology (new Mac etc.) and a reconfiguration of the room, for better work flow. Please reach out if you want to get involved this winter. Be well and hope to see you.
