FOUNDERS AND THEIR MISSION

Naubahar International Film Festival was founded in 2016 by Syed Hussain & Uroosa Rahim. They are passionate about bringing important cinematic work from all parts of the world to America. Their intention is to recognize the outstanding accomplishments made by people who produce South Asian films, and acknowledge talented entertainers from around the world. Film makers

from all genres are encouraged to submit their work for a special screening in Chicago. They will also have an opportunity to be nominated for various international, people's choice awards. The Naubahar mission is to celebrate the movie makers, using cinema related events to build cultural bridges.
