It was a tie! The SSIFF audience chose 2 of our films for "Audience Favorite" (see Laurels below). The other films, The Bug from Russia, Jone from LA, Love Letters to the Subway, from Sunnyside, Rakechan: A Love Story from Sunnyside, Queens Pride from Jackson Heights, Rana from Iran, Disgrace from Iran and Out of Face from Iran, were all highly praised by the audience, Pearl Was Here is from a Sunnysider and Your Silent Face is from a Forest Hills filmmaker..
