Finally made it home and what a fabulous time we had. We got to have an early Thanksgiving dinner with our travel BFFs and family, visit mom, sister, niece and new husband, nephew and great niece. Flew to Naples to spend Thanksgiving with the daughter and boyfriend and had a wonderful time with A LOT of wonderful food!!! Got to spend a few days in Frisco with the grandson. Stopped in Temple for lunch with the son. Then spent a funfilled girls weekend with the sisters, nieces and a grandniece. I got my dog fix throughout the trip with Jake, Sadie, Coco and Dakota. Got to help decorate a Christmas tree and saw some grand Christmas lights. We love to travel but it's always nice to come home.

Had a wonderful time, again, with the Lawless/Kuykendall/Dunlap girls for the weekend at the Lighthouse. Till next year...

Made it back to Dallas but not without drama. Let’s just say I rreeaallyy dislike American Airlines. They ripped my camera bag out of my hand making me check it ($25k worth of equipment in there) when I was boarding saying there wasn’t anymore open bins. I was just about in tears and counted at least 15-20 open spaces not to mention under the seat. I can’t even give them a one star on this trip. Luckily, by the grace of God, there was no damage. I still need to see if the external drive works. Besides that, we had a wonderful time in Naples and look forward to our next trip.

Last full day in Naples. Will miss this place for sure but we will be back!!👍👏🏻

While on the road the main thing I missed was a community. I had been so involved in my community and it was a real eye opener the lack of community you have on the road. As soon as we landed in Rockport our neighbors invited us to church and we fell in love. Church Unlimited in Rockport is amazing!! We got to experience our first baptism in the ocean. It was so great!!

We have made some life changing decisions. We have decided that it's time to get off the road. Not sure what that looks like just yet, but it's been quite a ride for the last 6 years, and we made it longer than we expected. We have met some great people, seen some great things, and been to some great parks. We are sad to see this part of our life end, but it's time. We took the month off in September and came to Rockport Tx. It was a very tough drive for Bob and he just said 'I quit, I can't do it anymore’, so we have decided to stay. We are currently settling in Rockport Tx at the Lagoons RV Resort. We love it here and if you are ever in the area, please let me know, we would love to see you.

About Kay

Since holding my dad’s Polaroid camera at the age of 4, photography has been a passion of mine. I still have the first picture I ever took!! I studied photography in college, but made it my hobby for most of my life while I went off to do other things. Wearing many hats, I kept coming back to my passion of recording and preserving important moments in life, so taking my photography skills to a professional level a several years back, seemed like a natural path for me.

In 2018, my husband and I decided to sell it all and travel full-time in a 40’ Holiday Rambler diesel pusher RV. We traveled the west in 2018, focused on the central states in 2019, and will conquer the east states in 2020 and beyond.

In late 2019, we met a young couple living/working on the road and making money while they traveled. We talked for a long time and by the end of our conversation we were very interested. We interviewed with the GM and the owner of AGS, a company that creates professionally designed guides for RV parks, and we were hired. We started in late February 2020, trained for a week, conquered our first park, attended the annual meeting, and made it to our second gig, 3 parks at once. We are excited to see what 2020 brings as we learn the business and continue to live in our RV.
