Nick Pitarra is an Eisner nominated cartoonist living near San Antonio, Texas. He is best known for his work on the New York Times best selling The Manhattan Projects, co-created with writer Jonathan Hickman. Nick has worked for Marvel, IDW, Boom Studios, and is currently illustrating Leviathan from Image Comics with writer John Layman. Nick’s artistic heroes are Moebius, Geof Darrow, Frank Quitely, and Seth Fisher, his style blends all those influences and filters them through a uniquely warped sensibility.

Nick had a wildly successful crowdfunding Zoop campaign where he garnered $210,927 dollars in support of his creator owned, DIY, magnum opus,

We at Nerd Con are excited to announce our next amazing guest. Elise Baughman star of Dragon Ball Z and many great anime programs is a very talented actress and one of the most engaging people we've had the privilege of meeting! Check out her bio below.

Anime Bio

Elise Baughman is a voice actress, screen actress, and TV host. She has voiced numerous characters in anime, animation, and video games, with her most popular role being Pan on Dragon Ball GT and the DBZ video games. She also hosts the YouTube show Anime Adventures where she interviews her fellow anime voice actors and others as she travels the country going to comic cons, anime conventions, and recording studios – along with doing Zoom interviews!

In addition to Pan, Elise’s anime credits also include Momiji’s Mother in Fruits Basket (Reboot), Momiji’s Mother and Rika in Fruits Basket (Original), Ayame in Yu Yu Hakusho, Yoko Okino in Case Closed, Ricky in Kiddy Grade, Sayoko in Spiral, Angelique in Burst Angel, Yukina in Girls Bravo, and other fun roles.

Her video game credits include Pan in multiple Dragon Ball games, Hemlock Willo in Paladins, Nu Horizons Nu Wa in SMITE, Armony Eiselstein in Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel, Hostess Missy in Aeon Flux, and Princess in Romancing Saga—among others.

Elise also voiced the character of Mom Baxter in the animated series, Boz the Bear—by the Emmy award-winning producers of Barney.

Noah Hathaway is a multi-award winning American actor and former teen idol. He best known for appearing as Atreyu in the film ‘The Never Ending Story.’ Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Noah started his career when he was 3 years old. He appeared in a few commercials until he made his TV debut in 1978 at the age of 6, with a key role as Boxey in the series ‘Battlestar Galactica.’ He made his film debut with the 1980 film ‘It’s My Turn’ and then appeared in many small film and TV roles until he earned his big break. In 1984, he scored his first breakthrough with the fantasy film ‘The Never Ending Story.’ His portrayal of Atreyu won Noah the ‘Saturn Award’ for the ‘Best Performance by a Younger Actor’ as well as a nomination for a ‘Young Artist Award.’ In 1986, Noah earned a leading role in the comedy–horror film ‘Troll,’ which featured him as Harry Potter Jr. At nearly age 20 Noah was forced to stop acting due to a previous injury. After a hiatus of a little over a decade Noah returned to acting in 2012, with the film ‘Sushi Girl,’ and later in 2013 ‘Blue Dream.’ Currently Noah is living in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife and is acting as well as writing/producing TV and feature films.

This 12-year-old Mont Belvieu resident has performed in more than 25 productions - tv, film, national commercials as well as modeling for major retail brands. She has starred as the lead role of several independent films ranging from

The stratospherically talented dancer/actor
Michael “Boogaloo Shrimp” Chambers
who played "Turbo" in the Breakin' movies of the 80's along with various roles in other movies like Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and robot Urkel in Family Matters is appearing at The Eastern Rim Funny Book & Vintage Con! Come to the show and meet Shrimp in person, grab a signed photo, and make great memories that will last many lifetimes!

Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" Chambers is a dancer and actor, known for his role as "Turbo" in the 1984 film Breakin' and its sequel Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo, in which he is credited as "Boogaloo Shrimp". Chambers rose to fame during the Hollywood phase of popping, boogaloo and robot dancing, as well as the freestyle art of b-boying. Chambers, along with his Breakin' series co-star Adolfo "Shabba Doo" Quiñones and other dancers from the films, were prominently featured in the music videos for Lionel Richie's "All Night Long" (1983) and Chaka Khan's "I Feel for You" (1984).

He made further appearances in the videos Richard Marx' "Children of the Night", Stacey Q's "Give You All My Love" Paula Abdul's "Opposites Attract", as MC Skat Kat, the films Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991), Naked Gun 33+1⁄3: The Final Insult (1994) and Dudley Do-Right (1999). He also appeared as Urkel-Bot in two episodes of the television show Family Matters: "Robo-Nerd" and "Robo-Nerd II".
He also appeared in Sugar Ray's video for the song "Fly" (1997).
