BITROT BITROT is an independent and artist-run record label based in Tehran, Iran. That`s what we like to collect.

Think of BITROT not as decomposition but as non-responsiveness, something out of use, out of it`s predestined function, slowing down and not useful anymore. Our sound is the sound of things going wrong, sounds of errors and bugs, sounds of things going incompatible with their surrounding and out of sync with their time. We see this incompatibility as new life for these sounds, a resurrection special to them, a usefulness out of the ordinary.
