COMMISSIONER’S TASK FORCE BUSTED ORGANIZED PROSTITUTION & IMMORAL TRAFFICKING RACKET IN HYDERABAD
The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West Team Zone along with local police on credible information have busted one organized prostitution and immoral trafficking racket in the limits of Panjagutta PS and apprehended (02) Organizers, (03) Sub-Organizers, (01) Customer and rescued (06) Female victims.
Details of the Accused:
1. K.Surya Kumari @ Mudise Surya Kumari@ Anjali Anjali @ Dasari Anjali @ Chiiti @ Kumari @ Rani @ Pallavi @ Rajani @ Lakshmi Main Organizer w/o Venkat Reddy, 38 years, r/o Madhura Nagar, Ameerpet
2. K Vijaya Sekhar Reddy Main Organizer s/o K. Gurumurthy Reddy, 49 years r/o Madhura Nagar, Ameerpet, Hyderabad n/o Mallaiah Pally (v)Chandraguri (m) Tirupati
3. Arkojit Mukherjee Sub-Organizer, s/o Bhiswajit Mukherjee, 30 years, Private job, n/o Birati North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, r/o Renuka Nagar, Balkampet
4. Venugopal Balaji 50 years Sub-Organizer r/o Tirupati
5. Kilaru Kirthi Teja Customer s/o K. Pradeep, 29 yrs, private job r/o Gandipet, Manikonda
Brief about the case:
The accused K. Surya Kumari and K. Vijaya Sekhar Reddy are habitual prostitution and immoral trafficking organizers. K. Surya Kumari, a native of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, has been previously involved in 16 cases registered under the PITA Act. In the year 2020, the PD Act was also invoked against her by Rachakonda Police for indulging in such illegal activities.
In the present case, the accused were discovered to have been engaging women victims from different states including Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, and Tripura and providing them housing in different lodges or individual houses across West zone area. The accused Shekar Reddy through online platforms has created a database of customers who are contacted and female victims are arranged to meet them at the desired location of the customer or he books a lodge where the customer can visit. Surya Kumari uses various payment methods and logins to transact with the customers thereby concealing her original identity.
On credible information, a room at Park Hotel under Punjagutta PS limits was raided and the accused Kirthi Teja was apprehended along with the victim. Further, the different locations housing the victims were raided and the main organizers and sub-organizers as detailed above were arrested. Further investigation is underway

In this regard a case has been registered against them vide Cr.No. 574/2024 U/s 370,370A IPC & 3,4,5 PITA Act of PS Panjagutta.
The public are hereby cautioned to be vigilant when renting their properties and to verify the antecedents of the tenants. Further, the citizens of Hyderabad city are requested to inform the police as to any information of illegal trafficking and prostitution in their area.
