It doesn't matter where the money comes from. I think it really is important that the record comes out because that is art. And i think that is the real value of a band". As an impressionable 16 year old these words rang true to me and before long i was immersed in the Setanta world of music. Evan Dando has some strong words for Jawbreaker after the latter band fired the Lemonheads from their spring tour after one show.

Dando implied the firing was because he went into the audience before the show, saying it “seriously compromised our financial situation” before admitting to acting like “a bit of a weirdo and an asshole.”

I think you will really enjoy this RTÉ Drama On One docu-drama about Limerick's They Do It With Mirrors and The Hitchers. In the early '90s they released two EPs on Setanta Records. I've more info on the band at links in comments.
