NEWS: Hettinger Racing, owned by former late model driver and champion Chris Hettinger, will debut this weekend at Martinsville Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The No.4 team has purchased the owner points, trucks and other assets of Bret Holmes Racing. Brett Moffitt, the 2018 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion will drive the entry at Martinsville and at Phoenix Raceway next weekend.

NEWS: MBM Motorsports announced today a multi race partnership to end the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season with 2ONE Ni****ne Pouches. The No.66 Coble Enterprises/2ONE Ford Mustang Dark Horse will be driven this weekend at Martinsville by Josh Bilicki. Then Chad Finchum will drive the No.66 2ONE Ford Mustang Dark Horse at Phoenix Raceway.

Cup Series Race Recap: Tyler Reddick celebrates his win on Sunday in the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Reddick made a last lap pass on defending Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney to capture the victory.

The win cements Reddick’s place in Championship 4 race at Phoenix with a chance to win his first NASCAR Cup Series championship.

The Cup Series heads to Martinsville Speedway this weekend as we cut down to the final 4 drivers who will compete for the Bill France Cup, the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Trophy.

ICYMI: Grant Enfinger won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Baptist Health 200 at Homestead Miami Speedway on Saturday. With the win, Enfinger will be competing for his first Truck Series championship kn the Championship 4 race at Phoenix in two weeks.

On Saturday evening, Austin Hill won the Credit One AMEX 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. Hill will compete for the championship first time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series career with the victory.

NEWS: Justin Allgaier and BRANDT Agriculture has agreed to a multi year contract extension with JR Motorsports for the 2025 & 2026 NASCAR Xfinity Series seasons. Allgaier will have BRANDT on the No.7 Chevy for 20 races in each season, and the company will have associate sponsor placement in the remaining races.

NASCARish NEWS: Dale Jr will run at Florence Motor Speedway in November with his Late Model Stock entry being sponsored by Budweiser, and he’ll run the stylized 8 that he acquired the trademark to earlier in the year. The Bud 8 has returned! JR will also run the No.8 Bud car in select Limited Stock Model races during the course of the 2025 season.

THE RETURN: Dale Jr. announced today he will run at Florence Speedway in November in a late model stock car with Budweiser as his primary sponsor. Budweiser will also sponsor Dale Jr and his stylized 8 car in select races during the 2025 season as well.

NEWS: Joe Gibbs Racing announced today that William Sawalich will drive the No.18 Toyota GR Supra full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025. Sawalich joins Brandon Jones and Taylor Gray as full time drivers for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Gray will drive the No.54 with Ty Gibbs as his listed car owner, whereas Jones’ number hasn’t been announced yet. However, his former number at JGR, 19, is still available.

It’s also worth noting that Ryan Truex’s plans with the team haven’t been announced yet but is still expected to be with the organization in some capacity in 2025.

NEWS: Joey Logano WINS the South Point Hotel & Casino 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Logano is now locked into the Championship 4 race at Phoenix Raceway.

It’s also Logano’s fourth win of his career at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

NEWS: Ryan Ellis will make the swap to DGM Racing in 2025! He will run full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the team owned by Mario Gosselin. Most of Ellis’ partners from this year, including Classic Collision, will make the move with Ellis.

NEWS: Tohatsu will be the anchor partner for Spencer Boyd and Freedom Racing Enterprises in 2025. Boyd returns to the driver seat in the No.76 Chevy Silverado in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Tohatsu served as the primary sponsor on Boyd’s truck earlier this year at Texas Motor Speedway.

NEWS: Alex Bowman has been disqualified from today’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 after his car was found to be too light post race. As it stands currently, the DQ will mean that Bowman will miss the Round of 8, and Joey Logano will take his place.

Any appeals will be heard this week.

NEWS: RSS Racing announced they will swap numbers for Ryan & Kyle Sieg. Ryan will run the No.28 SciAps Ford for the rest of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, where as Kyle will drive the No.39 Ford Mustang. The goal is to increase the owner point standings for the No.28 as much as possible heading into 2025.

Sorry for the lack of content this weekend. My wife and I were on our 1st Wedding Anniversary cruise.

We had limited internet access so, we didn’t really cover much of the race weekend, and to be honest I needed a weekend off…
