NEWS: Chase Briscoe WINS the Cook Out Southern 500! It’s his second career NASCAR Cup Series win, and he makes the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs!

NEWS: Christian Eckes will drive for Kaulig Racing in 2025 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Eckes will drive the No.16 Chevy Camaro full time.

NEWS: ‘The Rock’ is back! NASCAR announced all three National Series schedules today, and included on the Xfinity Series and Truck Series schedule is the return of Rockingham Speedway (formerly North Carolina Speedway). Track Enterprises is promoting the races. Track Enterprises is owned by Spire Entertainment Holdings.
The double header weekend will be on Easter weekend. Tickets will go on sale on November 1st.

NEWS: NASCAR announced today that the Cup Series, Xfinity Series and NASCAR Mexico Series will run June 14th thru 15th 2025 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez. It marks the first points paying NASCAR Cup Series race on International soil in 67 years.
It marks the return of the NASCAR Xfinity Series which last raced in 2008 at the road course in Mexico City. The race date is coming from Richmond Raceway, which is owned by NASCAR.
Also of note, Ben Kennedy stated that Kyle Busch’s legal issues from a prior arrest for bringing a gun into Mexico on a vacation in 2023, has been settled and will not preclude him from participating in the race.

NEWS: Harrison Burton WINS the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. It’s Burton’s first career NASCAR Cup Series win, and the 100th win for the Wood Brothers Racing team. It’s WBR’s first win since 2017 when Ryan Blaney won at Pocono Raceway.

NEWS: Shane Van Gisbergen will drive Full Time for Trackhouse Racing in 2025 in the NASCAR Cup Series season. Trackhouse Racing has acquired a third charter (SHR) and will use the No.88 for Van Gisbergen.
Sponsors will be announced at a later date.

POLE WINNER: Michael McDowell will lead the field to the green flag tonight for the Coke Zero Sugar 400, as he won the Busch Light Pole Award yesterday afternoon. His teammate Todd Gilliland will start second.

NEWS: Ryan Truex WINS the Wawa 250 Presented by Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway. This is Truex’s third career NASCAR Xfinity Series win, and second of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. It’s Truex’s first Xfinity Series win at a track other than Dover Motor Speedway.

NEWS: acceptance insurance will sponsor Shane Van Gisbergen in two NASCAR Cup Series races. The races are at Darlington and Atlanta Motor Speedway. With these two races added to SVG’s schedule, he will run 7 of the final 12 races in the NASCAR Cup Series season.

NEWS: Zane Smith and Trackhouse Racing have mutually agreed to part ways at the end of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Smith has been driving for Trackhouse Racing through a partnership with Spire Motorsports.

NEWS: Daniel Dye will drive for Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series full time in 2025, driving the team’s No.10 Chevy.
Dye has been driving for Kaulig part time this season while competing full time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

PENALTY: NASCAR has penalized the No.11 Joe Gibbs Racing team with an L2 level penalty. The team is losing 75 driver & owner points, 10 Playoff Points and Crew Chief Chris Gabehart has a $100,000 fine.
Toyota Racing Development had rebuilt the Bristol race winning engine, which is a violation of the rule book. According to the rule book the engine must be torn down and inspected by NASCAR. The engine was never inspected by NASCAR and simply rebuilt.

NEWS: Wawa will sponsor two of DGM Racing’s entries at Daytona International Speedway this weekend in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Coca-Cola Zero will be a co-primary sponsor on the No.91 Chevy Camaro.
The No.91 will be driven by Kyle Weatherman, and joining the team this weekend in the No.92 will be Josh Bilicki.

NEWS: Gus Dean will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut with AM Racing’s No.15 Airbox Ford Mustang at Daytona International Speedway.
Dean, who won the ARCA Menards Series race in February at Daytona, will return to the same team he raced for frequently in the ARCA Menards Series. Dean drove for the team in 2017 & 2018, which culminated in a win at Elko Speedway in 2018.

NEWS: Tyler Reddick WINS the Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. It’s Reddick’s second win of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

NEWS: Dow announced today they are continuing their partnership with Austin Dillon and Richard Childress Racing in 2025. Dow will sponsor the team in select races during the season.

NEWS: NASCAR announced today that the NASCAR Clash in 2025 will take place at Bowman Gray Stadium. It marks the return of the NASCAR Cup Series to the facility, which hasn’t seen a Cup Series race since 1971.
The NASCAR Clash will take place on February 2nd 2025.

NEWS: Haas Factory Team announced today that Sam Mayer and Sheldon Creed will drive for the organization in the NASCAR Xfinity Series starting in 2025. Mayer and Creed join the organization under multi year agreements.
Creed will take over the No.00 Ford Mustang while Mayer will drive the team’s No.41 Ford Mustang. The team is remembering No.98 to the No.41 as part of its new branding with Haas Factory Team to align with the No.41 being used in the NASCAR Cup Series.

ICYMI: RIP Bloomer! Legendary Dirt Late Model driver Scott Bloomquist passed away in a plane crash at his home in Tennessee.
SAD NEWS: Legendary Dirt Late Model Racer Scott Bloomquist has passed away.
Bloomquist was flying a 1938 Piper Club J3C-65 N21811 aircraft and crashed into a barn near his home. Bloomquist owned a private airfield on his home and was not a licensed pilot.

NEWS: According to Adam Stern, there is some industry chatter about a third car at RFK Racing in 2025.
According to his report, he states that Kroger has decided to join the organization as a sponsor, and with that size of an investment into the team, could it spark the third charter that was rumored earlier in the year.
Unsure which driver would be considered for this ride or where the charter is coming from, but Stern also mentioned Ryan Preece as the only current SHR Ford driver in the Cup Series to not find a ride.

NEWS: Haas Factory Team is announcing their 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series lineup on Saturday at 11:30am EDT according to a Media Alert sent out by the organization.
According to “Door Bumper Clear” Sheldon Creed is a favorite for one ride, and Brent Griffin just tweeted on the Couch Racer account a paragraph that if you look at the first word of each line spells out “Mayer”.

NEWS: Haas Factory Team has announced they’ve hired Aaron Kramer as the Crew Chief for the No.41 Ford Mustang Dark Horse starting in 2025. The car will be driven by Cole Custer. Kramer is currently the lead race engineer on the No.17 team and will join Haas Factory Team at the end of the 2024 season.
Haas Factory Team will have a technical partnership with RFK Racing.

NEWS: Kaulig Racing announced today that AJ Allmendinger will return Full Time in 2025 to the NASCAR Cup Series. The team did not announce which car number he will drive. Allmendinger has won twice in the Cup Series with the team, back in 2021 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Road Course and last year (2023) at the Roval.
