Abbott is a writer and the author of the space fantasy series, Nescada. She is at present completing the manuscript of Kindler of Flames, Book 1 in the Nescada fantasy series, and will pursue self-publication for her first work during the six months following its completion. Being an idealist, and understanding that she will probably never attain her ideal of finding a literary agent and imprint w

illing to work with her exacting vision for Nescada, she conceptualized Knurly Pen, Inc. with her husband Test, and it is her shiny-new Plan B, in a reality where traditional publishing might prove itself simply not meant for her.
