Our Story

The "SteelpanVibes, It's More Than Music!" Radio Show, in its 10th year of broadcasting in Brevard County, FL, seeks to share with listeners the remarkable music and history of the steelpan, invented by African descendants in the early 40s in Trinidad & Tobago. The 1-hour show features the finest recordings of steelpan soloists, ensembles and orchestras from around the globe. A listener favorite is the “SteelpanVibes Spotlight”, an interview segment with inspiring guests from a wide variety of professions. Our in studio team includes some of Brevard’s youngest brightest minds interested in the field of broadcasting. We are thankful and appreciate the consistent support of our sponsors: Brown’s Bakery & Restaurant, Thrifty Specialty Produce & Meats of Palm Bay and VITAS Healthcare as well as the businesses who come on board from time to time.
