Gaza Calling is a digital compilation of unreleased songs,demos,live versions offered by bands and songwriters from the Vicenza area to raise founds for the ABSPP ,Charity Association for the support of Palestinian people,active since 1994 and with various offices in Italy .
The musical community of the Vicenza area has chosen to show up ,to become an active community an make its own concrete contribution in such a dark moment.
42 songs that touch and explore multiple genres, 42 songs proposed both by very young and emerging groups, and by consolidated ones on the national and international scene ,42 songs that can be purchased trough Bandcamp with a free offer starting from € 10 .
“Someone will say that an initiative like this is of little use : instead everything is needed,and urgently. We are happy that the voices of the Vicenza musical community are rising together in solidarity of palestinian people oppressed by decades of occupation and apartheid”.
