Bristol-based producer/musician and DJ, bringing euphoria and ambience into all styles of alternative electronic music.

After producing club-ready tracks for the past 4 years, Roll My Dice is now taking his art into a more personal field, with songs that are intended to be heard and interpreted, not just listened to, with over twenty or more emotion-inducing tracks scheduled for release over the next coming months and years, you can be sure to hear a whole lot of ambient, lush soundscapes backed with drum beats that ever evolve into melodies that make for a unique freshness in the music scene.

With a broad taste in music himself, he states that “I want every release to be an unexpected journey into my life, when you come across a new song, it will be a roll of a dice stylistically, but its all part of my story”, with a mix of dreamy pads, elegant plucks and low beating drums with pumping baselines, Roll My Dice is definitely a name to look out for.

Happy Monday everyone!
Today you're meeting another of our amazing A&R reps, Connor Mitchell.
Our A&R team are responsible for discovering our amazing artists and then working closely with them to develop them as an artist and then get the tracks out to you all.
Connor will be bringing his wisdom and experience in the industry to the team. Here's what he has to say…
'The past couple of years I have spent working in the live events industry working at festivals, charity events, and I now run a promotion company with my friends called ‘Alpaca Presents’ and am also doing an internship with Rawr Management. At HUBB Records I’ll be in the A&R & Product Management department helping plan and execute the releases alongside managing budgets and timelines all the boring admin logistics parts that I enjoy doing! I am excited to listen to all the artist that have projects in BIMM and see where Volume 5 can take them with their upcoming singles.'

MEET THE TEAM
Today we meet another of our PR and Marketing team, Eloise Kirton.
Our PR & Marketing team are the ones who work with the artists and our A&R team to help define the artists brand and make their style a reality. Eloise will be working closely with our artists to launch their vision out into the public space by writing professional press releases and communicating with journalists, bloggers and media about upcoming releases and events.
Here's what she has to say…
'I was heavily involved in the launch of Resonate Magazine back in 2019 and I have continued to write for the publication ever since, carrying out interviews and writing on the latest topics in the music world. I also write for two other music magazines based in Bristol and London where I enjoy reviewing music and live gigs. I’m really excited to work with 2023’s chosen HUBB artists and help them utilise the opportunity to release a record with our label. I am part of the PR and Marketing team for HUBB and I can’t wait to help the artists on their journey to promote their releases and take the next step forward in their music careers.'

Alternative urban pop coming out of Bristol, Ellz writes self-positive music to act as a mirror to the attitude life throws at us. A contrast to lonely, self-degrading pop, Ellz’ uplifting, modern and honest dancehall is a breath of fresh air. Ellz combines inspiration from the likes of Raye, Mabel and Bryn to flourish on the open mic scene in Bristol with hot thinking on a track. A concept project launched by the singer, Ellz employs writing techniques to describe a tapestry of events with style and energy.

The New Cut

Forming in early 2021, The New Cut is a Bristol-based alternative rock 4-piece that deliver punchy tunes and a wry lyric. Despite fledging their musical adventure in the throes of a global pandemic, word has been spreading fast. Announcing their intentions via the release of their home-spun louche and infectious debut track The Family Business, playing to a sell out crowd at Bristol’s Louisiana, winning their inaugural appearance at BIMM Live and gracing the cover of Resonate Magazine, it’s no wonder they are already catching eyes and ears around town and beyond.
Further live forays and a fresh new single are due in the spring, and the way things are shaping up, it’s unlikely their first cut will be the deepest.

HUBB Records is a project founded in 2017 and comprised of BIMM Bristol Students and professionals with a passion in common - Music.

We are a mix of musicians, producers, managers and other industry professionals from different cultural backgrounds with a wide variety of knowledge and skills, collaborating within Bristol’s multifaceted music scene.

Our goal is to help artists develop their early career, providing professional advice and support on their first steps through the music industry. We will be releasing 10 different singles from various artists, promoting some of the great upcoming music here in Bristol and introducing them to professional industry standards.
