Bookin' it at the B&B Bookin’ it at the B&B offers a welcoming setting with readings and conversations about art, writing, and the devastation of dementia.

Hear author Madelyne Camrud read from her latest work, Oddly Beautiful, a collection of poetry tenderly stitched from experience with life and loss through Alzheimer’s. Come for the evening or stay overnight at one of our relaxing rural escapes and then join Madelyne for breakfast the next morning. Kay Sexton Award-winning author of Long Distance and The Work is All, Mark Vinz, says of Madelyne's

work, “These are heartbreaking poems grounded in the process of grieving, but so much more. They are about the devastation of the loss of memory but also of the enduring power of memory. Most of all, they are about love and the many forms it takes, including all that keeps us alive and moving day to day.”

This event is sponsored by New Rivers Press and the Northern Plains Ethics Institute.
