UPDATE: All aerial spray missions were completed for Seminole County on Wednesday, October 30. There will be no further spraying on Friday, November 1.

AERIAL SPRAYING: After Hurricane Milton, standing water left by flooding has caused a significant increase in mosquito breeding. With over 800 mosquito service requests currently in the system for Seminole County Mosquito Control, aerial spraying is a critical step in reducing high mosquito populations and protecting public health.

The State of Florida will conduct aerial spraying over the highlighted areas on Wednesday, October 30, with the potential to continue operations on Friday, November 1, due to the acreage. Spraying will take place from dusk to dawn, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., each evening. Completing the aerial mission is dependent on weather and other existing spray missions in queue.

There will be no spraying on Halloween, Thursday, October 31.
