2nd Annual Butler Island Day Commemoration update. Shalom Fam. East Coast neighbors, let's be safe and not play with Hurricane Ian. Material things can be replaced; lives can't. Due to the storm, we have rescheduled our Butler Island Day Commemoration to Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Each year at 10:53 am we pause and observe a moment of silence. The exact time of the final massive explosion at the Woodbine Thiokol Chemical Plant. Will you pause with us to remember the 30 Fallen Patriots of Thiokol that the full measure of devotion to our nation? Following the moment of silence, we call out the name of each of the Fallen Patriots and ring the ceremonial bell for each Patriot lost. A small way to convey our respect and gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
