Meet “Stephen Jackson”, The NBA Star Who Dumped His Fiancée At The Altar And Went To Party After She Refused To Sign Prenuptial Agreement 'In Case Of Divorce'

Retired NBA star Stephen Jackson didn't go ahead with his marriage to his fiancée, Imani Showalter, after she refused to sign a pre-nuptial agreement.

A prenuptial agreement, often abbreviated as "prenup," is a legal document that two people sign before getting married. Its purpose is to specify the division of assets and debts in the event of a divorce or separation. It can also address other issues such as spousal support and the rights of each partner during the marriage. The terms of a prenuptial agreement are agreed upon by both parties and can provide clarity and security for both individuals in the event of a potential divorce.

Sharing his story sometime ago, Jackson said that while he was in love with Showalter and was looking forward to marrying her, he was never going to walk down the aisle without the contract.

The basketball player revealed that the two had previously agreed that they would have a prenup and even understood what the terms of the contract are. However, when they received the document, she mischievously delayed signing it.

“We get the prenup back at least 3-4 months before the wedding. This is all true y’all. I give it to her. When I give it to her, she shouldn’t be surprised by it because me and her sat down and agreed upon the prenup,” Jackson says.

“A month passed, two months before the wedding, I’m like we need to get that prenup signed, so when we get down there to Houston, we ain’t gotta worry about it. I tell her that like two or three times.”

Later Jackson says that Showalter had another issue. She was adamant about a particular pastor to officiate the ceremony. He explained later that when he told the clergy that he would not marry her if she didn’t sign the agreement, the pastor tried to manipulate him by telling him ‘let God handle it.”

Jackson said that the pastor made it clear that he didn’t believe in prenuptial agreements.

“God is telling me to put the pen in her hand and make her sign this godd*mn prenup,” Jackson said,” That’s what God tellin’ me. So God tellin’ you and me two different things.”

Jackson and Showalter eventually never married. Instead, Jackson who dumped her at the altar says his friend, Stephon Marbury, DJ’ed an impromptu party where the first song he played was Kanye West’s “Gold Digger.”

"After 6yrs of childlessness i adopted a child but now i have my own babies, i see no need keeping the child anymore

We visited several hospitals for our childlessness but all confirmed, we were both very much ok. But i still felt empty without a child, so, i approached my husband with the idea of adoption while we hope & pray for God to bless us with ours, he reluctantly accepted & we did, 2 months later i finally got pregnant, our awesome God blessed me with a set of twins, 2 very cute boys. So, It's been a year,

To be honest, I'm starting to regret why we adopted the boy, i really wish i could wait just a little bit longer, it's obvious that God had already had plans blessing me with my twin boys. Seing my husband more attached to someone els's child we do not even know more than his own biological kids gets me worried, i feel a-n0yed watching him show so much care, love & attention to the boy who isn't even ours..

I know i wouldn't be able to love this boy as mine, i mean, I don't see the need keeping him any longer, i now have my own kids to take care of, i can't have my babies compete with a total stranger for their own biological fathers love & attention, he's 3 whole years older than my babies, he might just grow & start feeling entitled to what rightfully belongs to my kids. I'm only but a mother whom is looking out for her children

I plan on returning the boy or giving him up for adoption without having issues with my husband whom is more attached to him, but i don't know how, pls how do i go about this, i beg some guidance.."

Dear sir,

Please I need your help. I'm in a serious dilemma as we speak. Help post this for me on your wall:

I was dating a guy, when I got pregnant his parents forced him to deny the pregnancy then they sent him to the United States Of America thereby leaving me with the pregnancy.

Two months later I met a guy who decided to be with me even though he knew I was pregnant with someone else's Child.

He supported me right through my pregnancy until I gave birth. After giving birth, he enrolled me in a Training center for.me to acquire Skills and paid for everything.

It's now 5 years since we've been together. My whole family knows him and he plans to Marry me in 3 months time. But the problem is that my baby's daddy is back.

He has apologized to me and is ready to take me back with his child. I confess I'm still in love with him and he might take me to the United States Of America with him, this is an opportunity for me. I want to go back with him but I'm afraid ti will hurt the other guy.

How do you make him understand so that he doesn't feel betrayed and hurt? It's true that he made a lot of sacrifices for me, but I must not be a hypocrite towards him, because in my heart he is not my kind.

A lady slept with her Ex few weeks before she got married.

Hello Omajuwa. I am a 38-year-old full-time housewife who got married traditionally about 5 years ago. My husband is a 49-year-old who had told me he got divorced 7years ago and had 2 children from the previous marriage. The ex-wife and children stay in Canada. He is an architect who travels from time to time.

We have been looking up to God for a child since we got married and my husband has been quite understanding. He does not stress me about our childlessness. My mother-in-law rarely picks my calls and does not trouble me about a child too. My best friend keeps advising me to do my best to give my husband a child so as to secure my place in his family.

Few months ago, my husband’s friend started living with us. It started out as him coming to stay the weekend but he has refused to leave. Whenever I bring it up, my husband simply say that the friend is trying to get on his feet and he is helping him out because the friend was there for him in the past as well.

One afternoon, the friend walked in on my husband and I having ses and instead of getting furious, my husband asked that he joined us. I felt embarrassed that day but got used to it overtime. My husband had said it’s just ses so the friend joins us occasionally.

My husband travels a lot for work and sometimes when I feel too lonely, I simply go to his friend’s room to sort myself.

However, few days ago, I found out I am pregnant. My husband has been on a business trip for over a month now and I do not know how to tell him. Hope he won’t question the paternity of this child? How do I know whose child I am carrying? Would it matter to him? Do I just get rid of the pregnancy? I finally have what I have been longing for all these years but hope it will not ruin my home? Please help me.
