In this week’s episode of the veloccino cycling podcast .veloccino got to hang out with Jim Whewell from Wendover Beers. A local service that delivers selected beer from around the world via cargo bike right to your door step. Obviously this episode is not to encourage beer drinking at all but rather give you an idea what kind of services are out there in the Chilterns. If you chose to drink responsibly every now and then this service might be for you and it is run by a fellow cyclist too 😊. After a long summer break we had the pleasure to speak with from who just recently won the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham! We found out more about how Alex got into cycling , we learned how it felt to race the xc race behind “almost” closed doors and obviously we deep dived into his bronze medal winning Commonwealth Games race!

🔥 New Podcast Episode 🔥

As part of our additional series “2 wheels 1000 stories” the veloccino cycling podcast crew spoke to Charliiy Berry who currently rides for in the real world and along side Ashleigh Moolman Pasio on for the .

Charliiy has a numbers of fantastic race results to her name such as a Top ten finish at the 2021 Time Trial National Championships and is currently one of only a small number of elite racing license holders in the UK.

Tune in to find out more about how Charliiy entered the sport, what drives and motivates her as well as how asking for “the why” has helped manoeuvring through really difficult times.

Charliiy has recently shown great results at until a crash ended her tour for this year, ending up in breaking her collar bone. During our chat we found out how to find motivation during her road to recovery and also talked about what the future will hopefully hold.

Besides all of this you will obviously hear some insights from the veloccino head quarter.

We have recorded a fantastic new episode for our which will hit and tomorrow (Monday)

It will be the start of our new (additional) theme: 2 wheels 1000 stories

This one was recorded remotely but we tried as hard as we could to make it as “in person” as possible…and we had loads of fun!

Trying to keep it secret till tomorrow… but so much we can say already veloccino , and .veloccino spoke to a fantastic athlete who recently broke her collarbone to understand how she finds motivation during her road to recovery.
