✨ Wishing our clients and friends a restful holiday period and success in 2023 ✨⁣

Rather than send cards and gifts this season, we have seen the impact that Crisis has on the homelessness problem facing the UK - and in Coventry they are our office neighbours! 🏡⁣
⁣
We’ve donated our Christmas budget to them this year and we hope our colleagues appreciate this gift 🙏⁣ nobody should be facing homelessness at Christmas!

Wow… was a hit 💯⁣

Standing room only for my talk on Google My Business. Wasn’t there to sell, just wanted to give free, actionable advice to aesthetic medics and surgeons! 💬⁣

Later in the day I was asked to join the ‘Building Your Instagram’ panel discussion with Drs , and #, all of which have huge IG followings. Gave an outsiders perspective, but the value they delivered was insane! 📸⁣

Also met with clients and some new prospects whilst exhibiting alongside . Massive thank you to everyone who came to say hello 👋 ⁣

Facebook’s servers were down yesterday 🚨⁣
⁣
We lost Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and loads of connecting apps. Think logging into something via Facebook is easy? 😰⁣
⁣
What did we learn? 🧠⁣
⁣
That no business is safe from the dictation of Zuckerberg. If the goalposts move, the algorithms change or the servers drop, you lose visibility.⁣
⁣
It astounds us that there are clinics with no website, or a dusty old website they haven’t looked at in forever.⁣
⁣
💰 All my leads come from Instagram? (Do they? Have you checked your analytics?)⁣
⚖️ Instagram is the best social platform for clinics (Is it? For some clinics, yes, but one size fits all?)⁣
😵 I don’t have time to run a website and email marketing as well as IG and my clinic (that’s where we come in…)⁣

⁣
And yes, websites can go down too. That’s why you need best-in-class hosting and support from your *ahem* web team 🔌⁣
⁣
We need to spread out our marketing. Websites, great search engine visibility, an engaged email list, a breadth of social platforms, paid ads, a great brand. Find the mix ✨
