Eaters Choice Awards You've voted and we've heard you! The world's best recipes shared across social media. We are self-described recipe addicts. Well, that is, until recently.

We love reading cookbooks and surfing the web in search of the best recipes. Finding recipes on the web has become harder (and more frustrating!) than ever because there are just too many out there. Ever done a search for “baked chicken recipe”? 13,000,000 results show up. Or “macaroni and cheese recipe”? There are a whopping 11,400,000 results! Obviously no one could ever look through all of them

. So we’ve decided to do something about that and make finding the best recipes easier for all of us. What’s the first thing you do when you want to show off a recipe you love? You share it. You might like it on Facebook or pin it on Pinterest or tweet it or add it to Google+. We think sharing is the most valuable of recommendations because if you’re willing to share it to your own personal network, it must be good. Each time you share a recipe, we look at it like a vote. Recipes with the most shares get an Eaters Choice Award. It’s as simple as that! We comb through Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and Google+, add up the total number of shares, and the winner is chosen. But we don’t stop there: we feature the Runner Up and Third Place winners as well. Next time you’re in search of a recipe, make us your first stop. We’ve done all the research so you can just get cooking!
