I’ve been busy over at .and.shine.photography and I have really been missing creating art just for fun.

Lucky for me, shared a new monthly prompt along with her monthly color palette. It was just the inspiration I needed to create a simple design and to get back into it! This month’s theme is “Tea Time.”

🎆 Happy New Year! 🎆

Do you choose a word of the year? I have the past few years. However last year was a bust and I didn’t really stick to it. I don’t think I’m alone in saying I just tried to survive 2021. 🤪

But I have lots of hope for 2022! 🙏🏼 I chose the word “refresh” for this year. My daughter said, “Oh, like when your browser is lagging you refresh it!” I hadn’t thought about it like that but I can definitely relate to the lagging part! 😆 My husband said, “Like Subway?” Turns out has added “refresh” to their slogan but I decided if it is good enough for them it’s good enough for me. 😉

What’s your “word of the year” for 2022?
