In Memoriam 𝐋𝐞𝐰 𝐃𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐭!! 💐❤️
(March 12, 1938 – August 15, 1990)

Lew DeWitt (Lewis Calvin DeWitt Jr.) was a renowned American country music singer, guitarist, and composer. He best known as a founding member of the iconic country music group, "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬". DeWitt's distinctive tenor voice and songwriting skills played a pivotal role in the group's success. He penned several of their hit songs, including "Flowers on the Wall." Despite battling Crohn's disease, DeWitt's dedication to music remained unwavering until his departure from the group in 1982 due to health reasons. He continued to contribute to the music scene before his passing on August 15, 1990, leaving behind a lasting legacy of timeless country music. He would have been 86 today. Happy heavenly birthday to Lew DeWitt.
