Release days are always special and Paper Rabbit get to celebrate theirs today. Strangers, the first single, is out everywhere and I’ve already been streaming it over on Apple Music. This is the start of something really exciting for this band.

I'm thrilled to join Elsewhere Fest + Conference in Wichita, Kansas on June 21 + 22. I love events that combine learning and a killer concert lineup and Elsewhere Fest has Killer Mike GTO, Steve Aoki, Vince Staples and so many others. I'll be speaking about growing a fanbase using social media, doing some mentoring and engaging in public conversations that position two people with different viewpoints in a spirited and respectful conversation. Stephen Douglas Wolfe spent the fall writing and recording demos in a cozy A-frame cabin on the water in upstate New York. He's finalized a few of the songs and hits the studio shortly to record the final track that came out of these lakeside sessions.

Tim Paige spent some time rerecording a stripped down version of “A Healing Is Due” and it’ll be out February 14, so play it for your valentine or play it for yourself if you don’t have a valentine this year.

I ran into a former student when getting coffee today and she was surprised I was still in Syracuse. She seemed genuinely thrilled that I was still here and took care of my drink. It made me think of this one from Merit.
