Had an amazing time with my 4H/4L after school program students exploring the world of Communications & Broadcasting! 🎙️ They've nailed it with their podcast "P.O.P (Peer over Pressure)" 🎧 Seeing them thrive makes my heart sing! 💖 And to top it off, received cupcakes and flowers from a grateful mother! 🧁💐 Feeling blessed to be part of their journey.

Best birthday vibes! 🥳 🎉 Woke up with gratitude 🙏🏾 Thanking God 'cause just two weeks ago, I could've been gone. But look at me now, alive and thriving! God's been blessing me, giving me the chance to keep rocking my own truth and ticking off items on me and Momma's bucket 🪣 list. Took my baby to California Adventure/Disneyland, just like we planned six years back. Sharing my birthday with her is pure magic. Love her to bits. And where I'm at in life? It's all about that hustle and drive, thanks to the love Momma's showed and the constant support from Sarah now.

Shoutout to everyone who's shown me love. Like I said last year, it's my village that keeps me heard & seen. Your belief in me fuels my fire!

Reflecting on generational cycles and feeling incredibly proud of Sarah today. Yesterday, she showed such cultural awareness by introducing me to her friend and partner for the day! She has been asking lately about the significance of a hijab and a Bindi, inspired by her best friend's traditions. It reminded me of my own childhood, growing up with a best friend from the Philippines. Generational cycles often go unnoticed, but when they do catch our attention, it's truly a beautiful thing!

Hey friends, I wanted to take a moment to share a cherished memory from the early days of "In The World of Tom." It feels like just yesterday when I embarked on this incredible journey after leaving my on-air position with KZIM KSIM River Radio. Little did I know that this interview would be a turning point in my career and the birth of something truly special.

The memory that stands out vividly is the interview I had with Mr. Ray McCord regarding the closing of the beloved Creme Castle Restaurant on the west end of Sikeston. I had just started my own platform, fueled by the encouragement and determination instilled in me by my amazing mother.

I remember feeling discouraged and disheartened after my experiences as a journalist in Cape Girardeau. The weight of it all brought me to tears, and I sought solace in the comforting embrace of my mother. With unwavering support, she made a life-changing phone call, and with those four powerful words, "start your own platform," In The World of Tom was born.

Fast forward six years, and here we are, still learning and growing, making every move with my beloved Momma Lisa in mind. She has been my rock, my inspiration, and the driving force behind my dedication to bringing you authentic and engaging content.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported my platform throughout this journey. Without your unwavering support, we wouldn't have the momentum we do today. Your encouragement, comments, and shares have been the fuel that keeps us going.

As I reflect on that pivotal interview with Mr. Ray McCord and the subsequent creation of In The World of Tom, I can't help but feel immense gratitude. The memories we've made, the stories we've shared, and the impact we've had are all thanks to you, our incredible community.
