No perfect way to say this… but we are so pleased to announce our newest signing, snny!!!! 🌒🪷💿
—
In an era where songs and even albums are churned out in a matter of a couple of weeks, it’s notable that Iceland-based, Ivory Coast-born musician Snny says his biggest inspiration for his last record is a movie that took 11 years to make.
“Something that really influenced me was Richard Linklater’s film Boyhood, just because of the process that went into making that and how patient he was shooting it over the course of [so many] years.”
Snny’s 2022 album, ‘Water is Styled Honey,’ began as a poem. Quickly it morphed into a short film concept and, eventually, his most fully realized project to date. The concept began as a way for Snny to contemplate the relationship he never had with his grandfather, and the title plays with the idea that “Life is whatever you make of it,” he says. “Water is life, water is honey, water is sweet. You need this thing that is so simple to live.”
With a voice that oscillates between a tender whisper and a fervent cry, Snny captures the human experience in its rawest form. His music is a journey through the labyrinth of emotions, navigating themes of love, loss, identity, and self-discovery with a poetic finesse that resonates deeply with listeners. As he continues to evolve and push the boundaries of his sound, Snny remains a captivating force.
Stay tuned for new music coming soon 😉

Georgia Maq established herself as the singer and guitarist of Melbourne, Australia indie rock band , whose sophomore album How to Socialise and Make Friends (Run For Cover/Poison City Records) won widespread acclaim, topping a slew of 2018 end of year lists including NPR, Pitchfork, Billboard, Bandcamp, Stereogum, The Guardian, and Brooklyn Vegan. They released the reflective follow-up Running With The Hurricane in 2022, before officially ending the Camp Cope project.
The impact of the trio’s music on the indie landscape has been undeniable, with Maq emerging as a brave, resilient, and often politicized figure. Using her formidable voice to fight for the betterment of the music industry and rally against sexism, racism and all forms of structural inequality, she has never shied away from the uncomfortable and difficult topics that dominate the news cycle.
In 2019, Maq released her debut solo album, Pleaser, on Run For Cover Records. The self-described “love album” was a step in a new artistic direction, calling to mind pop artists like Lorde, Robyn, Charli XCX and Gwen Stefani.
Georgia now resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to write and record.

Odie Leigh would never have called herself a musician before the depths of the 2020 pandemic when her rapper roomies made a bet: Whoever records a song that goes viral first, wins. Slightly ticked off that they hadn’t included her in the wager, she decided to hit them with her best shot, and Odie was crowned the victor when a track she wrote blew up on TikTok. “I was like, ‘I’m gonna show y’all. I’m gonna win.’” Four years after posting what she calls “that silly joke song” on TikTok, Odie has continued to transform and evolve as an artist - from what she calls “acoustic, ethereal folk sad girl music” to a harder-edge tunes that flirt with early Aughts pop-punktivism.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she sang in the church choir, sure - her grandfather built the building, after all, and her family attended three times per week. But after moving to New Orleans to study English, she fully intended on making her bones in the film industry. That 2020 wager changed things, though, when she realized that she could win hearts in addition to bets. Her first real single, “Ronnie’s Song,” followed in 2021, a sweetly silly track she wrote to cheer up a friend. Coming from the film world, she found songwriting freeing, unbound from the rigidity of screenplay and discovered that simplicity can be a strength.
After her first two EPs began gaining steam on social media, Odie Leigh started hitting stages hard. She toured Europe, North America, and played Newport Folk in 2023; she also has festival gigs like Shaky Knees and Kilby Block Party, among others, later this year.
Get ready for new Odie Leigh soon with ‘Carrier Pigeon’ out 7/12 on

Don’t forget about POUTY!
We are stoked to announce the signing of 🎀🪞🪩🧂
‘Forgot About Me’ is Rachel Gagliardi’s full-length debut under the name Pouty. The album was written and recorded throughout 2022 in Los Angeles and Philadelphia with the Superweaks’ Evan Bernard and Chris Baglivo. ‘Forgot About Me’’s nine tracks speak to a series of realizations about desire, self-sabotage, denial, acceptance, and aging, all set atop fuzzy power pop.
Pouty began in 2013 when Gagliardi and Michelle Zauner (Japanese Breakfast) collaborated on a solo-song-a-day-project. At the time, Gagliardi was one-half of Slutever, whose bratty punk songs continue to captivate new audiences on social media. She later joined Upset, which featured former members of Hole and Vivian Girls. Pouty’s debut EP, Take Me to Honey Island, came out in 2016 and over the following years, Gagliardi shared a handful of EPs and singles including 2021’s “Bambina,” which reflects on the changes that accompany motherhood.
The title of ‘Forgot About Me’ is a line borrowed from the defiant chorus of album opener “Salty”: “I bet you almost forgot about me.” “It’s an admission to the self that you are struggling with an identity crisis, a nod to past versions of yourself, and the growing pains that come with getting older,” Gagliardi explains. “It also addresses the fear of being left out, of outgrowing places and people, of feeling discarded.” “Salty” underlines Gagliardi’s hunger to step back into her power. “What if you stopped standing in your own way?,” she wonders on “The Big Stage.” Forgot About Me is the answer.
Everyone give a warm welcome to 🧡

JUMPING FOR JOY OVER OUR NEWEST PUB SIGNING 🏇🏇🏇
Please welcome to the Terrorbird Family 🤎
Horse Jumper of Love - guitarist/vocalist Dimitri Giannopoulos, bassist John Margaris, and drummer Jamie Vadala-Doran–have steadily evolved since their formation in 2014, honing a mix of sprawling slowcore and raw indie rock across their 2016 self-titled debut, 2019’s So Divine, and 2022's Natural Part. On May 19th they’ll release the mini-album Heartbreak Rules, which forgoes the waves of fuzz and feedback and instead highlights the indelible songwriting at the core of their music.
