Let me tell you a little bit about my life! My husband, daughter and I all live on a little acreage in the midwest. We love having the space to garden, work on our 100+ year old barn, go on adventures and maybe one day we'll add some livestock, because why not, right?! My absolute favorite vacations are road trips. I love riding in the car (my husband would tell you I actually like NAPPING in the

car), seeing things we forget to look at when we're driving through, and most of all trying new places to eat. Some quirky things about me:

I could watch The Office on repeat for the rest of my life and be happy! I don't have a favorite color. If I could only eat one food for the rest of time it would be pizza, because I feel like it's a loophole. You can make a pizza taste like a taco, a cheeseburger, a philly, etc. I am very grossed out by people touching their sternum. I look forward to connecting with you and learning how I might be able to help you in your business!

People who are successful in their stories bring all the levels of what makes a good balance on social media... personality, knowledge & expertise, humor, empathy, entertainment, etc.

People who are successful in their Facebook VIP groups do the same.

People who are successful in their stories are consistently showing up and considering their ideal client's needs, wants, and emotions.

People who are successful in their Facebook VIP groups do the same.

People who are successful in their stories weave daily inspiration into their business strategy and brand vibe.

People who are successful in their Facebook VIP groups do the same.

People who are successful in their stories build community as well as one on one connection by inspiring engagement and conversation in their DMs.

Everyone fears the almighty algorithm. Let's look at a few ways you can work with the Instagram algorithm, make it happy, and post the things that work best for your audience and business:

💕 Make sure you're using all of the tools that Instagram provides: posts, carousels, reels, live, stories, collaborations, etc.

🖤 SEO Keywords are greater than the hashtag. Focus on the keywords, hashtags are secondary.

💕 Did you know that post shares are now more important that post saves? Make sure you're creating content people find useful and may need to refer back to!

🖤 Collaborating tools are expanding on Instagram and you should absolutely use them. Go live, post, or create Reels with other accounts for expanded reach and to please that algorithm.

Learning how to perform a content audit on your own social media accounts will help you learn more about your audience so you can increase your engagement.

Understanding what content has performed best in the past, will help you create more content that performs well!

Check the slides above for how you can use your insights to learn more about your best performing content so far. And then you'll want to consider these things:

WITH POSTS THAT HAVE DONE WELL:

🖤 Do they have anything in common? Are they all quote graphics? Photos of your face? Do they deal with a certain topic? Ask yourself a ton of questions about the content that's doing well and make notes. These are the things your audience has enjoyed so far.
🖤 Recreate these posts with minor tweaks so they follow the patterns that work, but the post isn't the exact same.
🖤 You can re-use this pattern over and over and even after several months recycle posts you've already done that perform well. Not everyone saw it the first time and not everyone who did will remember it 90 days later.

WITH POSTS THAT HAVE NOT DONE WELL:

💕 Do they have anything in common? Are they all quote graphics? Photos of your face? Do they deal with a certain topic? Ask yourself a ton of questions about the content that's not doing well and make notes. You might see some surprising patterns emerge.
💕 Can you place any posts that have flopped into the formula you've unlocked with the posts that have done well? Example: The same great caption with a different type of photo or graphic.
💕 If you're finding all of your sales posts are performing the worst, that's not abnormal on some level, but if they're drastically lower you will want to analyze your strategy for sales at this point as well.

Make sure to save this post to refer to later when you're performing your own content audit!

This content creation strategy changed my business and my life!

As someone who lives with ADHD and with that varying mental health moments/days, it's really important that I have content I can post on the bad days.

But more than that, sometimes life is super busy... and YES even the people who teach you how to keep consistent online can find themselves without content for the day.

OOPS!

So, what can you do? Start recording everything. Now, I don't mean whip your camera out during every moment of your life - that's really not a healthy or productive use of your time. But, when you're having a good hair day or wearing an outfit you feel fab in, intentionally record yourself doing something really everyday and mundane:

🖤 Doing the dishes
💕 Working on your computer
🖤 Reading a book
💕 Dancing
🖤 ANYTHING

Save these on your phone and when you need some content, post it as a reel with a trending audio or your own voice over. Add some text on top and boom. Done.

I see you, and I hear you. Running a business is a wild ride, and online marketing? Well, that's a whole different rollercoaster!

For those struggling with creating engaging content (Option A), remember, your stories, insights, and experiences are unique to YOU. Let's get those on paper and turn them into content that captivates and connects!

Finding the right audience (Option B) can feel like looking for a needle in a haystack, right? But guess what? Your people ARE out there, waiting to connect with your mission. Let's start by understanding who they are, what they love, and how your business can make their lives better. Check out my Ideal Client Profile Workbook to get started with this!

Oh, time management (Option C), our age-old nemesis. There's a lot to do and so little time. But with the right strategies and tools, you can make every second count. Setting timers, batching, showing up intentionally for specific tasks... all examples of ways you can manage that time.

And for those feeling lost in the tech forest (Option D), I got you! You don't need to be a tech wizard to nail online marketing. Everyone wants an easy answer to this question, but there truly isn't one. I can offer you a lot of great advice that will help you determine your best times to post on social media platforms - and then you can determine your best path from there!

THE LAST TIP IS MY FAVORITE:

📌 Understand your target audience's demographics, habits, and time zones. Consider factors such as age, location, and occupation, as these can influence when they are most active on social media.

Examples: If you target busy business women, they're more likely to scroll their phones before bed. If you're targeting stay at home moms, they're probably scrolling around naptime in the afternoon.

📌 Most social media platforms provide analytics tools that offer valuable insights into your audience's behavior and engagement patterns. Analyze the data to identify when your audience is most active and when your posts tend to receive higher engagement.

📌 Keep an eye on your competitors' social media activities. Identify when they are posting and whether their posts receive high engagement. While you shouldn't blindly copy their strategies, observing their patterns can provide insights into effective posting times within your industry.

📌 Ignore it all and post when you can be most active with your audience. There are a million things you can watch, monitor and consider to create the ideal time for posting. But, creating a schedule that fits into your life and allows you to hang around for a bit and engage after you post something is truly the best! is a great follow for this method.

It's time to get a firm grasp on what kind of content your ideal client is consuming and why. Once you understand what they're giving their time to, you can create content that will meet them where they are and provide exactly what they are looking for!

How do you find out where they are and what they're watching?

📌 Get crystal clear on your target audience. Identify their demographics, interests, behaviors, and preferences. Understand their pain points and what solutions your product or service offers. (My Ideal Client Workbook is perfect for this!)

📌 Dive deep into market research to uncover popular platforms and online communities that align with your ideal client's interests and demographics. Explore social media networks, forums, blogs, industry-specific websites, and online groups related to your niche.

📌 Once you've narrowed down potential platforms, immerse yourself in those spaces. Join groups, participate in discussions, comment on relevant posts, and share valuable content. Observe how your target audience behaves, what they talk about, and what captures their attention. Engaging directly with them will provide valuable insights into their preferences and online habits.

📌 Don't be afraid to reach out to your existing customers or run surveys to gather information about their preferred online platforms and communities. Ask them where they spend their time online, which websites they visit frequently, or which influencers they follow. Their feedback can be invaluable in guiding your online presence.
