Blog Interview: March 13, 2021

There are a lot of wonderful things we can say about Miami but one thing for sure, Miami has a lot of hard working people. People who grind everyday to not only make ends meet but also to push their brands and set a foundation for themselves and their family. One of those people happens to be a jack of all trades. He goes by the name of Jay Gaskin. He has been putting in ground work and paving the way for others like him. Who is Jay Gaskin you ask? Just read below and find out.

1. For those not familiar with you and everything that you do, what all do you do?

“I do every thing: film, photography, writing, producing, audio recording, editing for photography, film and audio, voice overs, on air personality for local radio, directing, artist development and management, music artist.”

2. How do you plan for a shoot?

“If I can I try to get to know a little about the person/group I'm shooting. If I can't meet with them prior then I get ideas from the wardrobe that they bring to the shoot.”

3. What has been your most favorite project thus far?

“I actually have 2 favorite projects. 1. I co wrote and performed songs for the critically acclaimed difficult times mixtape, and 2. I was a co star on the award winning short film black and blue.“

4. What packages do you offer?

“I offer singular service and bundle packages. No matter which you choose, each one is still going to be the most cost effective for the customer no matter what their needs are.”

5. What upcoming projects do you have that we should know about?

“Upcoming projects that I have are a few comedy skits, and 2 short films that I will be writing, directing, and producing.“

6. Now for a more fun question, if you were to be stuck on an island, what 3
things would be stuck with you?

“This is not a fun question lol, but if I was stuck on an island I only need one thing MY FAMILY.”

“Good credit became important to me at the age of 29 I started to see that credit is used for everything .You should build credit right away at the age of 18. A Lot of college students don't know that you can buy a home with just your degree.”

4. What do you think people should be aware of when selecting a credit repair company?

“If you are trying to pick someone to build your credit do a one on one let then analyze what you need done.Let them show you what needs to be taken off your credit so you are aware of the right person to pick.

5. Since manifestation is key, Where do you see your company in 5 years?

“In 5 years I see myself on platforms and being a teacher to others that wanna learn the right way to build credit.”


6. What is one word you’d use to describe what it means to have or keep good credit?

“Using your credit wisely and responsibly is what helps you to maintain a good score.”

Charmer

Photography is defined as The art, application, and practice of creating durable images by recording light, either electronically by means of an image sensor or chemically by means of a light sensitive material such as photographic film. We can all agree though that there are just some photographers that takes it to the next level. Therefore, we had to make Charmer our blog feature for this week! Born in Nassau, Bahamas but born in Miami, he defines Jack of all trades to the T. From being an artist, songwriter, engineer, videographer, photographer, he does it all. We decided to get to know more about his photography background. Read all about it below and be sure to check him out!

1. What does photography mean to you?

“Photography is art, it allows the photographer and the subject to convey artistic expression. There's much that can be said in a simple photo and that's the beauty of it.“

2. Who or what influenced you to do photography?

“Kri8ed Visuals was a huge inspiration and he mentored me.“

3. How long have you been doing photography?

“I’ve been doing photography for a little over a year but I've learned so much about myself and the craft.“

4. Of all the equipment you use, which lens is your favorite?

“I use the Sony A7 3 camera with the Sony OSS 33mm lens because the quality is clear and it works in the day and night.“

5. Do you have any upcoming projects people need to be aware of?

“MY EP H3R Pink Lips is coming out on Valentines Day, it's an RnB album and it's got 7 songs.”

6. What kind of influence do you think photography has on social media?

“Without photography, platforms such as Instagram wouldn't exist. People are able to show their creativity through their photos.“
