Nowhere near finished on this yet, but started up a custom build celebrating one of my passions. I’m really happy with how this is coming out. The crowd obviously needs some beefing up and I plan on adding a bar and merch booth on the opposite end of the “venue”.

First show of 2024 is in the bag. This is an article I’m really proud of. I didn’t feel out of practice despite rebounding from the broken hand. I had a lot of trouble deciding which shots made it as I loved so many of them.

Lines Øf Loyalty were a great opening act and really cool guys to chat with after their set. + DOPE +’s set was short but sweet and the band was Sara Elizabeth’s biggest reason dor joining me. My third time shooting for Sevendust (and always at the Paramount) and I still get excited when they hit the stage. Static-X was incredible live and so fun to shoot. I was practically giddy while in the photo pit.

Time to slowly start previewing some of my photos for ‘s upcoming article on the 2022 . I might as well start with the first band to be announced with . I still remember blindly purchasing their album in high school and instantly becoming a fan. Earlier this year I picked up the same album again on vinyl when had it as one of their offerings. Simply put, it was great to not only see but shoot their return to the stage. Those of you who have tickets to , do yourself a favor and make sure you find your way to their stage for their set. One of my favorites of the whole weekend and I can not wait to share the rest of the photos.

A week from today those camping at for have a fun lineup headlined by and . Alien Ant Farm was the first headliner I ever shot for at the sadly no longer existing many years ago. It was a venue I shot for more than any other with one of those shows later being Puddle of Mudd’s two years later. Added bonus: getting to meet both lead singers after the shows. I’m fairly certain press can’t cover this pre show (if we can, even better) but I hope all the campers in attendance show some love to both of these bands and the rest of the lineup!

This one is cheating a little but back when I was still just getting my feet wet in concert photography, was one of my first shows I covered. They were meant to headline but due to equipment issues, they performed an acoustic set and let a local band finish out the show. That acoustic set was amazing and when I caught the band again a couple of years later, I got to see that a proper set was even better. Now known as , they’ll be kicking off the festival next week on ’s URW Stage Thursday and I’m hoping to check them out once more. I am more than sure that The Lonely Ones will make it worth fans showing up early.

I’ve been doing this countdown for a few days now but let’s talk about a . Maybe it’s the fact that I’m hanging out at right now but I can’t stop thinking about how has earned their spot on the top of the card for the opening night. let the band prove their worth earlier this year and now a US fest gets to do the same and I’m all for it.

Two weeks from today we’ll be making our road trip down to for and my hopes for are higher than in this photo. I’ve had the joy of seeing Nothing More on more than one occasion and they always stick out from the pack with their amazing live set. This is one set that is absolutely can’t miss when comes rolling into .

Hard to think we are now three weeks away from the last day of . The final day of the four day lineup features the first headliner and I ever covered together, . We had the time of our lives at this show. Rest assured this band is fun as hell to see play live, both for their classic hits and their current tracks as well.
