Ever since I can remember, I have always been fascinated by “rule-breakers”, and always wanted my own show where I could as I like to call it “kindly interrogate” people about their life adventures (the good, the bad and the ugly). In 2011 I enrolled in BCIT’s Broadcast Journalism program only to be told by my professor, that to make it in the evolving journalism industry you have to make your own

content. As an employee at the BC Innovation Council, I was constantly meeting fascinating "rule-breakers" in the tech sector, and thus created Tarah Talking Tech. In doing so, I have had the opportunity to interview everyone from tech entrepreneurs, CEO’s, venture capitalists and government officials and in Fall 2014 I am very excited to launch my exclusive Tarah Talking Tech: Women In Tech interview series, that features seven rad women working in tech.
