The book of Matthew illustrates Christ as King. He is our King and He cares for us deeply. He sees us even if no one else does. Our King is a promise keeper. We serve a God who keeps His promises. We don’t have to be shackled to worry, and we don’t have to have a white-knuckled grip on life. If He cares for the birds, if He dresses the flowers, how much more will He care for you — His beloved creation? The weight on our shoulders is heavy sometimes — on our own, it is crushing… but we have a promise keeper who’s got us. All we have to do is call out to Him. ✨

The same God of the mountain is the same God of the valley, and He will protect us anywhere. He will find us anywhere and keep us. Gentleness isn't weakness, but an all loving, peaceful, Grace filled protection.
