Tory Lanez has broken his silence after being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

The 31-year-old rapper was given the sentence in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday for shooting the Savage hitmaker in both feet after a party in July 2020.

Breaking his silence on his prison sentence, Tory, real name Daystar Peterson, stated that he will not apologise because he did not shoot Megan.

"I have never let a hard time intimidate me, I will never let no jail time eliminate me. Regardless of how they spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will," he wrote on Instagram on Thursday.

At least six new complaints have been levelled against Lizzo by alleged former employees.

A legal firm representing three of the singer's former dancers revealed they were examining new complaints from individuals who claimed to have toured with the Juice star or worked on her reality show Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.

"We have received at least six inquiries from other people with similar stories since we filed the complaint," employment lawyer Ron Zambrano told CBS News.

"Noelle (Rodriguez), Crystal (Williams) and Arianna (Davis) have bravely spoken out and shared their experiences, opening the door for others to feel empowered to do the same.

"Some of the claims we are reviewing involve allegations of a sexually charged environment and failure to pay employees and may be actionable, but it is too soon to say," he added.

Ne-Yo has reversed his "publicist's" apology over comments he made about young children choosing their gender identity.

In an interview over the weekend, the Closer singer questioned parents who allowed their minor children to make "life-changing" decisions about their gender identity at a young age.

After receiving backlash, the R&B singer issued a statement on Twitter/X on Sunday in which he expressed his "deepest apologies" for his remarks.

However, in an Instagram video on Monday, the Miss Independent singer insisted the statement came from "the publicist's computer" and he is not sorry for his opinion.

"First and foremost, I do not apologise for having an opinion on this matter," he stated. "If my opinion offended somebody, yeah sure I apologise for you being offended because that wasn't my intention.

"However, I am entitled to feel how I feel... I have no beef with the LGBTQIA+ community whatsoever... Do what you want to do with your kids... (But) I will never be OK with allowing a child to make a decision that is detrimental to their life."

The microphone that famous American rapper, Cardi B threw at a concertgoer during a stage performance in Las Vegas is now up for auction.

The singer was seen performing in a video widely shared on the internet on Saturday when a member of the crowd splashed liquid from a cup at her.

Fisher, in a Facebook post wrote: “I own the microphone that Cardi B was nice enough to tomahawk at someone that splashed liquid on her a few days ago.

“After some encouragement from people I decided to auction it off.”

As of the time of writing this report, bids for the microphone had hit $99,900, with the listing set to end on Tuesday, August 8.

Lizzo is being sued by three former backup dancers for creating a hostile work environment and engaging in sexual harassment among other allegations.

The suit names Lizzo, her production company Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc. and her dance team captain Shirlene Quigley as defendants.

The alleged incident of sexual harassment mentioned in the suit supposedly took place in a strip club in Amsterdam, which they visited after a show earlier this year. The dancers claim Lizzo allegedly bullied Davis into touching a n**e performer, to the point where she led a chant goading her into doing so until she eventually gave in, despite declining multiple times.

Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles has filed for divorce from her actor husband Richard Lawson.

The 69-year-old filed for divorce from the actor after eight years of marriage on Wednesday, according to court documents obtained by multiple outlets.

In the filing, Tina listed their date of separation as Tuesday 25 July and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.

The businesswoman also asked the court not to award her or her estranged husband any spousal support and to restore her name to Celestine Knowles.
