Notice I didn’t say ‘Cross-Post’, because that is entirely different.
Cross-post means you are sending out the same content across all platforms.
While this may be an easy way to reach your audience across all social media sites, it is not the most effective because the demographics of each platforms are different. (Although many platforms allow you to.)
What this means is… you need to modify the content to suit the tastes, needs etc. of your audiences across platforms. This is what is called ‘Cross-Promote’.
Suiting the message will not only appeal to the audiences, but will also give them value in the right way they can absorb it.
Message remains the same, but method should be different. This is why you must thoroughly understand your audience’s language.
For instance, the way you post on LinkedIn should be different from TikTok… different audiences, different needs! (Imagine posting a bum-shaking video on LinkedIn 😀.)
When you cross-promote, your audience will understand your content better and easily convert to paying customers. 👍

Confused about the best time to post on social media for high engagement? 🤷♂️
Truth is... There's really no 'best' time. 😳
So many information out there about when or when not to post, but the fact is, these information still depend on many factors such as time zone, geographical location, audience interests, your industry, the different social networks, whether your business is B2B or B2C, type of content etc.
So there's really no one-size-fits-all. The answer still falls back to you. 👉
Here is what you should instead of getting overwhelmed:
✅ Do extensive research using analytics to know what time your audience is most active online. 'Insights' for example, is a good place to start on Instagram. It shows you what time of day, day of week your followers are most active online.
✅ Create engaging content. Even if your followers are online and your content isn't captivating, they won't engage with it.
✅ Watch when competitors with bigger accounts and similar audiences post and see how the engagement looks like. Compare with the data you have
✅ Keep experimenting until you find what works for you.

How to be Confident and Win Over New Clients...
I remember when I won over my first client. She had approached me with help for her social media accounts as she was a very busy Mompreneur.
But I had to convince her first that I could do the job. So we scheduled a meeting.
While I tried to appear calm on the surface, my mind was like a swarm of bees in an overcrowded hive.
Thankfully, the discussion went well and we have had a fruitful business relationship.
Overtime, I have grown more confident when talking to clients. These are the tips that have helped me and can help you too:
✅ Prepare ahead of the interview/discussion. Get yourself ready mentally, physically and professionally.
✅ Focus on your client's problems and proffer solutions that you bring to the table.
✅ Show concern about their plight. Speak less about yourself and more about them.
✅ Show them your portfolio, results you have achieved. If you are a new SMM, try to convince them to give you a month's trial. Do this at a discount or for free, if possible
✅ Don't appear like you are in it for the money. Doing that will put them off.
✅ Most importantly, believe in yourself that you can do it because you can. Your confidence is the assurance they need to see.
