🌍 Clean Up The World Gibraltar Celebrates 20 Years of Environmental Action 🌿 (Issue 64 - Page48)

The Environmental Safety Group (ESG) marked a significant milestone with the 20th anniversary of Gibraltar's Clean Up The World event! 🎉 On Saturday, 28th September, nearly 700 volunteers came together for an incredible community effort, tackling 26 sites across Gibraltar. 🌱

From ecological and heritage sites to urban and underwater clean-ups, teams collected an astounding 15 truckloads of waste in just a few hours, showing the massive scale of the environmental challenges we face. 🚛💚

Together, we can make a difference. Thank you to all the volunteers for their hard work and commitment to a cleaner, greener Gibraltar! 🌎

¡El Environmental Safety Group (ESG) marcó un hito con el 20º aniversario del evento Clean Up The World en Gibraltar! 🎉 El sábado 28 de septiembre, casi 700 voluntarios se unieron para llevar a cabo un esfuerzo comunitario increíble, limpiando 26 sitios en toda Gibraltar. 🌱

Desde sitios ecológicos y patrimoniales hasta limpiezas urbanas y submarinas, los equipos recogieron un impresionante total de 15 camiones de desechos en solo unas horas, demostrando la magnitud de los desafíos ambientales que enfrentamos. 🚛💚

¡Juntos podemos hacer la diferencia! Gracias a todos los voluntarios por su arduo trabajo y compromiso con un Gibraltar más limpio y verde. 🌎

💥One Month to Go: ! 🚴‍♂️

With just one month remaining, Minister John Cortes MP has been training for two months from scratch to complete his cycling challenge around Gibraltar on the 1st of December in support of the GBC Open Day fund.

The community is more than encouraged to join him on our 50 km Cycling Challenge, with options to ride 10, 30 or the full 50 km, plus gifts for all registered participants! (Register here: https://bit.ly/47HE2cK)
