Excited to announce that I'm relaunching my 2013 book,
"Easy Money: The Definitive UK Guide to Funding Music Projects" and it is now available to pre-order, with the official launch on Monday 15 February. One profound impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is the renewed interest in funding, and I hope that making this book available again will save time for anyone starting out on this road. I spoke to dozens of funders and fundraisers – and to artists and small businesses who had been through the experience of securing money – to collate their advice and tips. My goal has always been to demystify the funding process, and to make it quicker and easier for anyone looking to access support.

In 'Easy Money' I talk about how to attract money, the motivations of different funders, your chances of success, and the benefits - and costs - of each of six funding options: grants, friends and family, crowdfunding, sponsorship, debt and investment. A lot has changed since it originally came out, but I decided to issue the original edition as it's my first venture into self-publishing and much of what I wrote back then, still holds true.
