When I started this YouTube journey, I didn't know what to expect going into it.ā

Was I good enough?ā
I feared getting on camera.ā
I feared being judged and critisized.ā
I compared myself to other creators who seemed flawless in every video they posted.ā

But I learnt to stop those toxic, self-sabotaging thoughts and instead focused more on the value I was delivering to my audience.ā

There were days I lacked creative juice and motivation to post. As hard as I was trying to record a new video, the words simply could not come out. In times like this, you just need take a break, go outside, get some fresh air, read a book, or do something completely out of the norm so that you can get back on your feet.ā

Taking that first step out of your comfort zone will always be the hardest. You just don't know what lies ahead until you make the first move. I didn't realise I could get so many opportunities come my way on this platform so early on from paid sponsorship deals to passive income through ads. It all never would have happened had I not taken that first step.ā

Every time I catch myself falling for another great idea, I tell myself to stay on course. ā

Instead of starting on any new ideas, I take note of them. In a few months time, I refer back to see if they align with my current goals. If they donāt, I ditch them. ā

Distraction is the number one killer of productivity. If you want to get more done, know when your āoptimalā time is. For me, itās between 9am - 2pm. During those hours, I work on growth tasks like content and product creation. Outside of those hours, I work on admin tasks or just end my day there. When is your most productive time?
I have to admit, when I started my online business I was chasing the money. I had a website, logo, and created my first product and wondered why people werenāt buying.
The problem was obvious. I wasnāt delivering any value. My website was all about me and my product.
If you want to start making sales, think of your audience first. It all comes back to delivering value. Build a bridge to help someone get from point A to point B.
