Who we are and what we are doing:
Creators and hosts Andrew Jason and Derek Flint started this project as a way to learn more about their home-state of Michigan and the Midwest as a region. Neither of them is shy to learn and discuss a wide-array of topics which ultimately lead to the decision to start a podcast.
They decided to focus on the unique experience of living in Michigan as this provided them an outlet to explore their own perspectives, biases and to research topics that they were familiar with.
As the project evolves, Andrew and Derek are focused on improving the podcast experience for listeners. They are working each day to find fun Michigan topics such as driving in the snow, common phrases and terms, sports, stereotypes, businesses, common places and many other experiences unique to the Midwest.
