Genre Guidelines:
◦ Fiction: Submit one story up to 10,000 words in length, or up to five short-shorts fewer than 1,0
00 words each.
◦ Poetry: Submit up to five poems as a single document of no more than 10 pages total.
◦ Essays: Submit one piece of creative nonfiction up to 10,000 words in length, or up to five micro-memoirs or lyric essays fewer than 1,000 words each. General Guidelines:
The Frank Martin Review only considers unpublished work and acquires first North American serial rights. All other rights revert to the author upon publication. We accept and encourage simultaneous submissions of previously unpublished work, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. Please submit work in only one genre at a time, and wait for a response from us before submitting additional work. Include a brief contributor’s bio (50 words or less) with your brief cover letter (also 50 words or less). Payment for published work comes in the form of two copies of the issue in which the contributor’s work appears and a discount on additional copies of that issue.
