At 5:30pm in the Kornman Auditorium WYES producer Peggy Scott Laborde will share an excerpt from her 2006 documentary CHRISTMAS IN NEW ORLEANS. Plus Laborde will welcome New Orleans puppeteer Jeff Kent who will bring an original Mr. Bingle marionette, handcrafted by Oscar Isentrout, who was the voice and puppeteer for Maison Blanche’s Mr. Bingle shows in the front window of the Canal Street store during the late 50s and into the 60s.
