This morning volunteers from the DTE Monroe Power Plant joined us in delivering bags of food for The Table! 🙌
We are so grateful to this amazing group of people!
Words cannot express the absolute awe over how God is bringing together people from next door and all over to serve the people in need within our community! We are humbled at how God is providing for these families, we’re watching miracles and provision unfold in a matter of minutes.

There is a difference between resting and resting in ready position.
I pondered this thought this morning as I prayed and sat with God.
I don’t want to fool myself into believing that I’m waiting on Him, when I’m really just sitting complacently.
As I pondered I saw this image in my mind. A runner on their mark, but also resting. Taking the moment to breathe, to listen for Him, to take in this moment before the gun fires and the race kicks in to high gear.
That’s where I want to be.
Resting where I am, but ready to run when He says to.
Resting where I am but listening for His voice in every moment.
“Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize.”
