The defendant is one of nearly 20 people the government described as “tools” of the Proud Boys whose actions on Jan. 6 were orchestrated or inspired by four leaders of the right-wing group found guilty of seditious conspiracy in May. Scott was admonished earlier that day by Proud Boys leaders to not yell on camera about the group’s plans or intentions as they circled the Capitol before President Donald Trump finished speaking at a rally near the White House and directed angry supporters to march to Congress.

Daniel "Milkshake" Scott shouted about taking the Capitol hours before the breach and led an assault that broke a key police line.

The Rankin County Sheriff’s Office in Mississippi has fired multiple deputies after two Black men filed a federal civil rights lawsuit alleging six White deputies entered their private residence illegally and tortured them for nearly two hours.

The terminations come roughly two weeks after Michael Jenkins and Eddie Parker filed a lawsuit alleging six deputies entered their Braxton home in January and handcuffed, kicked, waterboarded, repeatedly used Tasers on the men and attempted to sexually assault them.

During these acts, the deputies used “vicious racial slurs,” including the n-word and “monkey” and accused them of “dating White women,” the suit alleges.

“In their repeated use of racial slurs in the course of their violent acts, (the deputies) were oppressive and hateful against their African- American victims. Defendants were motivated on the basis of race and the color of the skin of the persons they assaulted,” the lawsuit states.

Two Georgia synagogues were targeted by nearly identical antisemitic protests over the weekend, both allegedly organized by a neo-N**i group that has gained notoriety in recent months. Both protests appeared to be the work of the Goyim Defense League, a neo-N**i group that has spread its messaging and instigated other antisemitic incidents around the country.

Antisemitic demonstrations were staged outside congregations in Macon and Marietta in the span of 24 hours.

Killian M. Ryan was arrested August 26 and charged with one count of knowingly making a false statement on his application for a secret security clearance, according to court records.
