“Medallion Man is co-founder, resident and the driving force behind Loose Lips. Since its launch in October 2014, he has directed its growth into a well-respected and ever-ambitious diverse musical platform; curating events, label releases, charity work, mix series, video content, radio shows and directing the blog’s activities.

His own DJing continues to blossom, gaining a reputation for tempo-spanning and intriguing mixing; bringing together influences of rave culture, hip hop and abstract electronics. His bookings have taken him on American & European tours, and see him most regularly gigging in the UK where he runs Loose Lips and Techno Cafe events, as well as in Portugal, where he co-runs a club night called Wyrd Wrld in Lisboa, bringing together artists deeply rooted in the rave continuum.

He first started playing on the radio, developing a unique take on experimental and electronic music, whilst incorporating regular interviews exploring communitarianism, club culture, mental health, production, music publishing and much more. Animating several shows on different stations over the last decade, he continues to breathe new life into an evolving love affair with radio.

Back in April 2017, his radio passion inspired him to launch a new community-driven station, 199Radio; which quickly grew into a thriving, internationally recognised project. Then, this evolved into Threads, which launched in Jan 2019 and is still going strong; focused on ‘threading together’ a range of cutting edge music, art and discussion.

To unite these passions, he is also the co-founder of ‘London Promoter Society’ - a union that aims to bring back more cohesion and collective spirit into London’s diverse musical melting pot of events; representing and bringing together grassroots promoters from various scenes, sounds and generations.”

“Brain Rays is part of q***r collective, DOOMSCROLL, and Devon art & party crew, Bizarre Rituals. He is also a co-founder of Wrong Music alongside DJ Scotch Egg and Matt Lambert (Roger Species).

Known for his hectic, high pressure output with Quiet, and film soundtrack work (as part of Unknown Horrors) collaborating with director Dean Puckett (The Severed Sun, The Sermon, Satan’s Bite) and Rhys Chapman (Wonderkid). As a DJ he has performed all over the world, including Transmediale Festival (Berlin), Today’s Art (Den Haag) and Boomtown Fair, as well as two live sessions at Radio 1’s legendary Maida Vale Studios. As a producer he has garnered support from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, ETCH, Huw Stephens, Drumskull, Annie Mac, and Nikki Nair”

In case you are unaware, Slacky is a DJ and curator based in West Yorkshire who runs the Space Ritual label. In addition to this, he is a co-director of the wonderful Narr Radio.

Being heavily influenced by acid house, techno, krautrock and psychedelic music, his mixes often create an intergalactic voyage for the dance-floor and today’s mix is no different, featuring the likes of CPI, Zu Mu Party Crew, Coil, Jenson Intercepter, I-F, and much much more.

Basile is a native of the Leman Lake, in Switzerland. He’s a passionate dedicated to promoting and energizing his region through music. He has undertaken various projects to achieve this goal, one of which is “le Feu au Lac,” a concept aimed at showcasing and supporting the local house music scene.

“narek simonian is a box-to-box midfielder with football and music flowing through his life since childhood. He can be best described as a digger of music treasures and a team player.

His journey in the electronic music scene began in 2011, and over the years, he has developed an eclectic approach to combining sets, making him a versatile and multigenre DJ.

Throughout his path, Narek has found himself associated with the music cartel lézvání, a Yerevan-based record label, where he took on a new role as an A&R manager.

In addition to his music endeavors, he is involved in the Side Effects project, curating art events, and collecting talks/podcasts from local artists.”

Next up we are delighted to have London based music aficionado and friend of the label Johnny Aux ()for mix #110. For those living under a rock, Johnny is a member of Paranoid London, Sworn Virgins, Decius and the rest... which we won’t go into 😎 very little introduction required.

The recording, taken from our Kutika record release party at Kristina Records is a dubbed out space exploration, seamlessly blended throughout with hints of Johnny’s signature acid sound creeping in towards the end.

Initially rooted in house & disco, Ariane V’s exquisite selections frequently drift through the dreamlike and euphoric to the broken beat and acid pumpers. She’s a regular at many of London's best venues, either getting people dancing at the likes of Corsica Studios and the Cause, or digging deep at audiophile spaces such as Brilliant Corners. For Viscera 107, joins the series!

"Niklas Wandt is a percussionist, producer, DJ and radio host . He lives in Berlin, where his eclectic approach is heard most regularly in basement club Sameheads - a lush sonic palette with a hypnotic, heavily percussive drive, from tripped out downtempo and afrofunky cosmic sound (think Rimini 1995) to driving progressive house, trance, warped techno and warm, thumping tech house. Active in music since about 2008, Niklas has played in hiphop, psychedelic rock and free jazz projects and has been part of a number of projects centered around Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf. A wide, open minded range of practices that still feed into his music today - at Salon he forged his musical bond to producer Jan Schulte aka Wolf Müller. The pair released the acclaimed double LP "Instrumentalmusik von der Mitte der World" in 2018 via Growing Bin Records and have taken its music on the road as far as China.

Niklas can be also heard as part of the band Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge and in a duo with veteran producer Sascha Funke (their third duo record just came out via R.A.N.D. Muzik), plus on a string of solo releases for imprints such as Bureau B, Permanent Vacation,Animals Dancing, Warning and Edizioni Mondo.
As a music journalist, critic and presenter, his features, portraits and reviews can be heard regularly on German public radio stations WDR 3, Deutschlandfunk and SWR 2."

The recording sees Balam play alongside Pablo Harymbat & Andy Menutti at his own club night, Club del Ritmo.

"Balam is a musician, producer and DJ from Buenos Aires, Argentina, focusing on electronic music and world music, combining modular and analog synthesizers with real and weird percussion sounds creating a unique atmosphere making every track an acid and psychedelic voyage through Latin-American nature and culture."

With the above in mind, this has seen Balam's releases land on labels that include Multi Culti, Pets Records, Get Physical, Hard Fist and more, and we're delighted to have him involved for the next mix in the series.

"Alex Pletnev is currently based in Toronto. 2023 was definitely his year - 3 incredible records were out and sold out via labels RAND, Echocentric, Linale which landed into bags of Aurora Halal, Saoirse, Shanti Celeste, and many others. Being also a part of techno-trance duo Moisk together with Fourme Rouz, Alex is ready to kick off 2024 with fresh music via On Rotation, Griffe Records & Terra Magica.

A few weeks ago Alex published a mix with top-notch 90s tunes via On Rotation, giving a second life to dusty trance & prog tunes. A new mix for Viscera continues that trend and boils in one pot 90s Sven Vath stuff with almost forgotten house tunes from the early 2000s."

For those that are unaware, Ambient Babestation Meltdown is a producer, DJ and vocalist who has released with the likes of Optimo Music and Ritual Poison, with more poetic productions on the way.

Her mixes travel through Techno, Tech House, Electroclash, Hardcore and more giving off relentless energy and we're delighted to have her involved.

Who would have thought all those years ago we’d be at mix 100?!

But here we are, and what better way to celebrate than with a special recording from captured at our first collab party with as .dance at on Friday 13th May.

A true legend of the scene, we’re sure you’re aware that Felix has been there, done that. From partying with Tonka Soundsystem and then putting on many an illegal rave himself with the Slack Soundsysem, to residencies at Glastonbury's Block 9 and everything else in between.

Also a prolific producer, Felix's releases have been a staple on some incredible labels; DFA, Golf Channel, Futureboogie to name a few, whilst recently relaunching his label Ugly Music to the joy of collectors worldwide. Keep an eye out for Felix's next release on June 16th on Ugly Music!

So without further ado, let today’s recording guide you through in true Felix style, with hints of acid, disco and some raucous rollers. HWFG.
