OUT NOW on Industry Standard we have our head honcho Oliver Dollar and his Detroit production partner Mike Agent X Clark deliver us a super slick deep disco house record with an original vocal from singer/songwriter duo D13 also hailing from Detroit. The original ticks all the right boxes with an elastic live disco bassline, guitar licks, cowbells, xylophone chimes and a lush string section. Once the ladies layover their sublime vocal we are cruising full speed into the disco stratosphere. A classic sounding yet original record.

Next up on Industry Standard we have UK expat & New Zealand resident Dick Johnson. Having been a mainstay on the House & Deep House scene for well over 2 decades he has released on labels such as Play It Down, Paper Recordings & Shaboom. His track ‘I Can’t Help Myself’ featured on our Industry Standard ‘Bits n Bobs Vol.1’ at the end of 2021, now we welcome Dick to the label for his first solo release on the label.

He’s delivered us a great 3 track EP featuring 2 versions of the title track ‘Into The Groove’, and ‘Get Up Now’ to finish it off. Make no mistake, these 3 tracks are all aimed squarely at the dancefloor, with pulsating rhythm sections, and enough disco licks to keep Studio 54 on fire. They are peak time house tracks that will not disappoint. Another Industry Standard winner here for sure…

Today sees the release of the next single on Industry Standard Music from a new group hailing from Detroit, Outr Drive, featuring sublime vocals from Steffanie Christi'an. Their first outing sees Outr Drive deliver a low slung, soul drenched, deep house track with a live bass line and lush keys that set the tones of a track for a wonderful vocal from Steffanie.
